Blazblue: The Wheel of Fate Turns Again

The year is 2203, September. It?s been nearly four years since the Take-Mikazuchi nearly destroyed Kagutsuchi city and the rest of the world. Ragna still continues on his quest to destroy the NOL while the bounty on his head still persists. Noboy knows where Terumi is or what he?s up to but there?s one thing that is assumed, he?s up to no good. Rumor has been spreading that there has been a new Saya clone who will be equipped with what it supposedly the strongest Murakumo armor yet. That is why my mom are here right now in Kagutsuchi. She thought this would all be over once the time loop was ended but she was wrong. We need to stop the production of the next Saya clone even if it means getting through the NOL to stop Terumi. Even though Terumi has obtained what he wants, he still wishes to unleash the Black Beast unto the world and send it back in time so it can cover the world in seithr and cause yet another time loop but we aren?t going to let that happen again. Not this time.

Kokonoe works for Sector Seven, though she seems to have her own agenda.

Bio: He grew up mostly indoors in the lab his mother worked in. He got into science at a young age and knows more than most people do but tends not to show it unless in the lab. Outside, he?s just a happy-go-lucky kind of person. Growing up, he also idolizes Tager as the ?Coolest most awesome guy EVER!? He never knew who his father was but that doesn?t really bother him since his mother, despite her rude personality, his generally very kind to him.

Bio: Born and raised in the lower levels of Kagutsuchi, Taokaka is a member of the Kaka Clan. Not much is known about this half cat, half woman creature, but she is for the most part playful and carefree. She is extremely forgetful and loves to spar. Get in the way of her food or friends, though, and she won't hold back.

Bio: Jin is the brother of Ragna the Bloodedge. Somehow twisted by Terumi's words, at an early age, Jin burnt down the church Ragna and his sister Saya were taking refuge in, stealing Saya and leaving Ragna for dead. Years past, and, not knowing what happened to Saya, Jin is now a major of the NOL. He has recently gone AWOL in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi, perhaps in search of his brother, who has recently been reported as being seen breaking and entering into some of the Librariums...

"Um...hey, mom?" Mark said tugging on her labcoat.
"Yes M-59?" She replied keeping her eyes fixed on the computerscreen. Numbers streamed past at a fast rate and she observed it all.
"Mom...Don't call me that. I only go by that name when I'm working!" He said blushing a little. It didn't offend him, but it did embarase him. It was basically the equivalent of being called "huneybuns" or something else to that effect. "Anyways, I want to find Tao today. I'd promissed that I'd go play with her."
"Well, she's where she usually is, down where the rest of the Kaka clan." She said a tad bit annoyed by the obvious question. "Just make sure you get back for dinner."
"Okay! Bye mom!" He said as he ran out of the lab and headed toward where all the Kaka lived.

"Zzz...Zzz..." Taokaka was sleeping on top of a hill; it was, in fact, the only hill in the entire lower levels that got sunlight. It was very warm, and a nice place for the Kaka-kittens to have fun at. Or, as Tao liked to use it for, relaxation. She continued to rest as the many kittens played around the area.

Mark aproached the village. "Well...She's probably at the hill, as usual." He then headed that way watching the Kaka children running around.

Coincidentally, another being was making his way to the village at the same time. Jubei - one of the six heroes who saved the world from the Black Beast, and unknowingly (in a way) the grandfather of Mark - was slowly walking towards the Kaka Clan. He was great friends with the village elder, and was an idol to the younger kittens, in a way. Still quite a distance off, he sighed as he sat down on a nearby log, opening a jug of water and taking a sip.

Even the "most powerful creature on the world" needs to take a break every now and then, he thought, scoffing mentally at the quote. Who comes up with that stuff anyway? It's not like I even do anything with this "power" nowadays. He got back on his feet and continued his trek down to the village. No; I need to pass my knowledge down to the next generation. They'll know how to use this power. They're going to need it.

Mark walked up to Tao who was just laying there. "Hey Tao, how are you doing?" He said with a warm smile. The few people who knew him and Kokonoe were usually surprised at first that they were even related. Their appearance isn't what's in question though. It's their personalities. Despite the fact that Kokonoe is generally cold and rude to most everyone, Mark is a kind person who doesn't look down on other people. "I promised that I'd come play with you today, remember?"

Tao continued to sleep, not seeming to hear Mark at all. She muttered something, as if she was in a dream. "Is that a cake you have, mister?... Tao would like some, nyao..." She turned over in her sleep, clawing at the air halfheartedly.

Mark sighed as he sat next to Tao. "Well...I really hate wasting time doing nothing," he said lying parallel to Tao except facing the other direction, "But I hate breaking a promise even more." I'll just take this time as 'vacation time...' He laid there enjoying the warmth of the sun. I can see why all the Kaka like to come here.

Tao opened her eyes as she felt the presence of someone else lying down next to her. She reluctantly sat up, wiped her eyes, and yawned loudly. She looked drearily over at the person next to her. She instantly cheered up as she recognized the young man. "Oh, hi Tail Boy!" She said gleefully. "Did you come here to see Tao?"

Mark was jolted up in surprise at Tao. "Huh?...Oh, yeah." He stood back up and scratched behind his ear. "I promised I'd come here today, remeber?"

"Meow?" She asked, tilting her head slightly, trying to remember the exact details of their last encounter. Unfortunately, all that came back to her mind were images of the food they ate.

Mark knew that asking her to remember was a futile task but he did so anyways just in hopes that maybe, one day, she would remember something other than what food she ate or when she took a nap. "Well, I'm here anyways to see you. So...what do you want to do?" He asked knowing that the answer would somehow be related to food, napping, or "playing."

"How about we sleep and dream about playing and eating, meow?"

Tao looked up at the large crack in the sky in which she could see the world above, thinking. "...Tao isn't sure what we should do," she finally decided, lying back down in defeat. "Tao always chooses; Tail Boy should be able to choose today!"

This was a surprise today. Tao was right, she always did choose. "Um..." Mark got a sort of feeling, a feeling he didn't like. It was the feeling of not knowing something. Sure, it may seem insignificant not to know what you want to do just for fun but to him it was like an annoying itch you had but can't itch because you're in public and people would look at you funny..."Well..." A quick solution came to his head, "Hey Tao, wanna learn more about being a vigalante?" He knew that Tao was a great fighter but she didn't exactly have the greatest mind. Maybe today he would devote himself to teaching Tao.

Tao gasped, shooting upright like a bullet. "You mean Tail Boy knows how to be a vigilante? Alright!" She exclaimed, propelling herself upwards.

"...I know isn't that great?..." he said with a nervous chuckle. This si why he didn't like knowing things...because bad things always come out of it but now he's made a promise to himself. He'll try his hardest to teach Tao. "Well...let's start of with the basics. You at least know what a vigilante is, right?"

"Of course Tao does!" The cat girl said proudly. "It's someone who hunts down people for money!" Things like this stuck with Taokaka easily. In other words, if it was simple, was jammed into her head far too many times than it should be for any normal person, and could be shown with a diagram involving food, she would remember it.

Oh thank god. Mark sighed to himself in releif. "Well, what else do you know? Do you know about the seithr that is all around us?"

"Sei...thr?" Tao asked, tilting her head again. "Nope. Tao doesn't remember any of that stuff, nyao."

"Ah, well, let's start there then." He said as he walked around a little. "Seithr is floating all around us. It's everywhere." He said waving his hand around in the air. "But you can't see it. Seithr powers a lot of things now of day. In fact it can even be used by certain people for really strong attacks!" He said hoping that Tao would understand. Maybe I should have simplified that a bit but...we'll see.

"Oh..." Tao said, trying to grasp the concept. "...So every time Tao fights, seithr is used?"

"Well...not every time," Mark said glad that he didn't have to repeat anything yet. "Only those fights when you use a really powerful attack...although, there are some people who use it all the time, but they're really powerful." The only person he knew who fought like this was Hakumen. He never met the warrior personally but he's overheard his mother talking to him over some sort of radio she has on him. Just...whenever he hears his name or even thinks of him, it sends chills down his back.

"A really powerful attack?" Tao asked, smiling absentmindedly. "Okay, I think Tao gets it. But does that mean that seithr is a good thing, or a bad thing?"

"Well, it depends on how it's used." He said continuing to walk back and forth. "If one uses it in a controlled, limited amount, then it is perfectly okay to use it. However, when used carelessly and greedily it can corrupt and even kill a person!" He said clutching his fist. "Generally, though, there's not enough around the cities for a serious problem to occur involving seithr overdose."

"That's good," Tao said, shivering slightly. "Tao wouldn't like it if evil people used seithr to hurt people." Her mind traversed back to when the village was attacked by Arakune; or, more commonly known to the Kaka clan as the "Black Squiggly".

"Oh, um...If that's what you meant before then that's a little different." Mark said. "There are people out there who use seithr to hurt others. I think it's terrible to do that especially if the other person can't even use seithr."

"So then people who use seithr like that are bullies?!" Tao asked, enraged. "Tao will beat them to a pulp whenever she sees them!"

Mark sighed "Tao...you can't do that to them. Two wrongs don't make a right. Now, let's forget about all the bullies and focus on learning about being a vigilante."

Tao crossed her arms and pouted. She hated being told what to do... but then again, Tail Boy Mark was one of her best friends, so she didn't want to say anything against him.

"Well, back to being a vigilante. You can't just fight and use seithr, you have to have a reason to fight." He said trying to remember the man who everyone was after. God! He knew his face, it's everywhere but he has a terrible time with names, almost as bad as Tao. "Um...Ragna! That's it, that's the guy who everyone's after!" He said to himself.

Tao's face lit up when Mark said that name. "Oh! You mean Rawrgna!" She said with her usual speech impediment. "That's the guy Tao was supposed to go after and bring back lots of money for!"

"Yes, that's right." Mark said excited at how much Tao still remembers. "That's what a vigilante fights for. They fight for what they want, usually because it's what they think is right."

"That's great!" Tao shouted. "Tao knows she's right, so nothing can go wrong with that!" She smiled as she began punching in the air, feeling victorious.

Mark smiled. It always made him glad to see other people happy. He pulled out a blue lolipop out of his pocket, unwrapped the wrapper, and stuck it in his mouth. "Well, that's the basics of being a vigilante. There's still more to learn but you've done a good job so far."

Tao lied down on the ground, suddenly exahausted. "Tao's brain hurts nyao," she stated, rubbing the sides of her head slightly.

Uh oh...maybe I went too fast for her. "Is Tao feeling all right?" Mark asked leaning over her.

"Yeah, Tao is fine," the cat girl fibbed as she yawned again. "So what should Tao and Tail Boy do next?"

"Well..." Mark said as his stomach grumbled, "Um...how about we go to the ramen shop next to Lichi's clinic?"

"Food?!" Tao asked, feeling energized again. "Yay!" She exclaimed, leaping up on her feet.

He knew that would perk her up again. Really, he just wanted to go there because maybe Tager was with Lichi right now...but of course, he was feeling a bit peckish too. "Alright then, let's go." He said walking back towards the city.

Tao grinned as she followed Mark, skipping all the way. "Meow, meow, meow..." She hummed to herself as they trekked towards the city.

I wonder when they're going to initiate the plan, The blonde thought as he sat on the edge of a cliff, looking down on the rest of the world. An advantage of the Hierarchical cities was that they were very high up, so one could look down and see for miles upon miles of land, sea, and sky. None of that mattered to Jin Kisaragi, though. I haven't been told anything yet, but I expect they'll do it soon. And as for him... He clenched his fists. "Where is he...?" He whispered, thinking out loud.

Heh, same old Tao...Mark continued enjoying his blue lolipop. If there was one thing he inherited from his mom, it was her sweet tooth. He snacked almost as much as she does. He placed his hands in his pocket and searched through them. Hm...only four lolipops left. That should get me through the day.

Bio: Marianna didn't grow up with her family. At the tender age of five, she was separated from them, and she does not know who or what caused it. But for eleven years she has been on her own. She is clueless about the world around her, and basically has only learned the necessary skills needed in order to survive. She travels from town to town, seeking food and shelter, before moving on before anyone can cast a pitying glance her way.

Unable to take the guilt of ruining such a young career, Carmelita deemed herself an outcast, and went out on her own. Her ears are pierced at the lobe and cartilage as well as her belly button. Rena?'s hair is not naturally straight, it's a mass of tight coils that form an afro.
Bio: Ever since she turned thirteen? since her mom died? it seemed like Rena? only argued with her dad. Every other day, the tension between them rose. Two years later, all hell broke loose. The true hatred for her father burst out, and she struck him with a right hook to the jaw. Minutes led to hours, and by that time, it was a sword fight. There was no turning back. With a final slash, Rena??s father was down. She didn?t know if he was still alive or not, but she didn?t stay to find out. She sheathed her blades, and ran off with only the clothes on her back, all the money in the house, and her best friends, her weapons. None of her family has seen her after that. Nearly five years pass, and Rena? has become colder to be ?stronger?. Though she faked her death, she is sure that there are still people out looking for her because of what she did, including her father's mob.[/spoiler]))

Taokaka watched intently as Mark was enjoying his lollipop. "Why are you eating that stick?" She asked out of curiosity. She had always seen him eating them, but she had never thought to ask about it until then.

"Oh, this?" He said pulling out the lolipop, looking at it's half eaten blue sheen now covered in his saliva. "Well...I've always had a sweet tooth, just like my mom." He then popped it back into his mouth and continued enjoying it.

"Meow?" Tao asked, confused as to how someone could have an edible tooth, and why it related to the stick. She wanted to ask, but decided against it, thinking it would hurt her brain too much.

The two were aproaching the ramen shop. Mark was a regular there and, knowing how much Tao liked eating, assumed that she must go here often too. Despite the fact that he was a regular, not many knew of his relation with Kokonoe and Jubei.

Tao started to get excited on the inside. Yay! Food! She thought, happy that she'd be able to eat again soon.

((Wait a minute; how is Mark 15 if this only takes place 3 and a half years after the game? O_o))

Mark walked into the restaurant with Tao and sat down at an open table, thinking about what he'd get this time.

((You'll see. ;P))

Tao sat down across from Mark, humming quietly to herself as she looked at the menu. She didn't even seem to notice the odd looks she was getting from the other people in the restaurant; it wasn't common for someone of the Kaka clan to be seen in Orient Town.

((But you think she'd tell Mark? I wouldn't think Jubei would know about him.))

((Mark's a smart kid. It's not hard for him to put 2 and 2 together ;)))

Mark looked around being a tad bit nervous that everyone was watching. I...I don't like this feeling of everyone watching. He began to hide his face in the menu.

Tao looked up from her menu to see Mark hiding his face in the menu. "What's wrong, Tail Boy?" She asked.

"Everyone is watching..." Mark took a quick glance around and noticed that there was a young woman dressed in blue and had a chest that was rather...lacking. Her stare seemed more...menacing to him.

"I have spotted the Sector Seven scientist M-59." She said into a radio that she was carrying. She put the radio back onto her belt and pulled out her two guns.

((OH SHIT OH FUCK IT'S NOEL AAAAAAA ;-; Don't green-glow-thing spam me please. ;___; ))

Tao looked around obliviously. "Tao doesn't see anything strange," she told Mark. "Tao gets looks like this from people here all the time!"

((Wait for it...))

"L- Listen...Tao, I think we need to get out of here." He said hastily getting up and walking towards the exit. Suddenly, there is a flash of light right in front of him and he falls back.

"Not so fast!" Says the girl. "I'm under strict orders to arrest you M-59."

He jumps back up and shouts to Tao "Tao, let's get out of here!" He sprinted out the door just barely escaping another plast from Noel's guns.

"Get back here! I place you under arrest!" She began to chase after him.

"Wait Tail Boy!" Tao cried, running after Mark. "What are we doing now? What about food?"

Jubei had finally made it to the Kaka village, and was conversing with the village elder. They were talking of the usual stuff, until...

"Ah, I thought you might like to know," the Elder said, "he was here today." Jubei frowned slightly. "He and Tao are great friends; I believe I overheard that they were going to Orient Town."

"I thought I felt something odd in the seithr when I got here," Jubei said, scratching his ear. "I should have been able to detect it. Must be old age gettin' to me." He stood up, brushing the dirt off his outfit.

"Leaving so soon?"

"He went to the upper levels," he said. "I have a feeling that something fishy is in the air. My days of fighting might be over, but hell will freeze over before I let one of my own blood die while just standin' there."

Mark ran down the streets of Orient town. His weapons were down in the lab with mom but even if he had them, they wouldn't do him much good. He had never fought in a day of his life. There was no need to but now all the sudden, there's this NOL soldier who's about to take him in! "Ohgodohgodohgodohgod!" He kept running and saw that he was going to run out of space fast. He was heading for a dead end.

Taokaka followed Mark to the dead end and turned around to face Noel. "Alright, Tao doesn't even know who you are, but she's decided that she doesn't like nyew! And I'm still hungry!" She got into her fighting stance. "You're gonna pay for this nyao!"

Jin got up from his spot at the cliff and slowly walked around Orient Town. I've been through this place how many times before... and I haven't seen him since. Where has he run off to?

Noel turned around, "You know, assult of a NOL can AND will result in your arrest." She pointed the two guns right at Tao. "Cease and desist and I may just let you off the hook."

"You're not taking Tail Boy away!" Tao shouted, ignoring the guns pointed at her.

((Wasn't Noel a bit more... uhm... weak in game? Or has Bolverk finally started to consume her?))

Noel didn't say a thing. She just jumped directly at Tao and pointed her left gun right at Tao's face and pulled the trigger releasing a blast of energy.

((THE WHEEL OF FATE IS TURNING. REBEL 1. ACTION!))

Tao quickly ducked as the blast of energy exploded over her head. She's fast! Tao thought as she quickly rolled to the right of Noel. What should Tao do? She quickly examined the situation as she got back up on her feet. Tao's only supposed to fight people for money, but this person is kinda scary... and Tao should play to keep up her strength...

Noel turned both guns toward Tao and began to rapidly fire them.

Tao, who was still thinking when Noel began firing, deftly put up a defensive barrier to block the blasts. It looks like Tao has no choice... "Tail Boy, run!" She shouted as she jumped into the air and made a quick diving kick at Noel.

Mark nodded as he quickly ran past Noel and Tao fighting. He ran off to the Kaka Village to get help.

Noel put up her arms in defence and was pushed back by the kick. "Not bad...for a Kaka." She then swung her left arm trying to hit Tao with the barrel of the gun.

"Elder!" Mark shouted as he aproached the village. "Tao's in trouble!"

Tao didn't see this new attack coming, and the gun hit her square in the face. She went dizzy and skipped back a few steps, trying to regain her blurring vision. Don't give up! Tail Boy is counting on you!

"Is that so?" The elder asked, almost as if she was brushing it off like one would to a bothersome fly. "I wouldn't worry; Tao is a strong Kaka, if not a bit stupid."

Noel readied another swing now with the right arm. She brought it over her head and swung down towards Tao.

Mark reached the elder out of breath. "Tao...NOL...help..." He stood there panting. He never had to run so fast for so far in his life.

The Elder suddenly became interested. "The... NOL?" She asked, her voice quivering slightly. What has that fool gotten us into now?!

Tao deftly raised her right arm to block the swing, preparing for another attack this time. She shook off the previous attack and swung at Noel with her left arm, claws out.

Mark stood there starting to catch his beath. "Yes...They're attacking Tao right now."

Noel leaned back but was still cut by the claws. "Ugh!" She held her right arm over the wound. "These were new uniforms...Your going to pay for that!" She lifted up her right arm and fired another blast.

Tao put up her barrier again, but could feel her power beginning to fade from using it too much. "Nya!" She shouted, jumping in the air and making a diving kick at Noel again.

"The fool!" The Elder shouted, filled with rage. "What can we do about it now?"

Noel wasn't ready for the kick and was knocked straight onto her back. She feebly tried to get up. She picked up her radio. "I need...back up. I'm at coordinates 57, 29."

"Well...I could..." Mark said but then stopped to think. No, you fool! That weapon isn't ready yet...But Tao's in trouble and she needs my help...It's never been tested before! Do you even know if it works?...I...I don't...But I have to! "Get someone to help Tao until I can get back!" Mark ran off into a descrete allyway and jumped into a secret passage that led to the lab.

Bio: The NOL originally created Joseph to be able to test out their weapons. Once he started to test some of the more advanced weapons, he began to show a bit of a personality. When he did, NOL took action to put him down, but they failed and he escaped, taking a weapon called "Garm" with him, a weapon that had been customized to fit his arm. In fact, it was his arm and it gave him great power. It is currently unknown where he is but it has been rumored that he is in Kagutsuchi, searching for another being like himself.

Meanwhile, in a dark corner, Rena? had just sat down to eat, just watching until she couldn't see what was going on anymore. She grumbles a few inaudible words, noodles slowly being slurped between her lips, considering the possibility of getting nosy. 'At least it ain't me this time, though it is boring just sitting here. No, I won't, as long as me and peace and my food are left alone...' She pulls her hood further over her.

Mark ran into his personal bedroom and grabbed two metal gloves resting on top of a blueprint that seemed to be for said gloves. He slipped them onto his hands. Chills went down his spine as this was the first time he'd get to try out this new weapon. "Hold on Tao. I'm coming for you." He whispered to himself as he ran back to a pod that would take him back to the city.

Marianna was shuffling down the street, attempting inconspiciousy while shifting her eyes around, looking... And then she saw a boy (or at least, what looked like part of a boy and part of... some blue animal) come rushing out of the restaurant and down the street. He was soon followed by two others, the last of the lot seemed to be chasing after the beast-boy. "What strange times we live in," Marianna mumbled out loud. She stood there for a moment longer, thinking to herself, before deciding to follow the runaways.

Eventually, the path led her to a dead end. There were two girls, duking it out. But where'd that beast-boy go? Staying in the shadows, Marianna watched the fight closely. She heard the older-looking lady mumble something about needing help into her radio. 'Hm, I wonder if this... er, cat-thing... can handle herself,' Marianna thought to herself. But she did not act, only continued to watch.

Tao ran over to Noel, who was lying on the ground. "Stop talking into that box and fight nyao!" She yelled at the NOL officer.

Mark returned to where Tao and Noel were fighting. There was another girl there but he didn't notice her yet. "Hey!" He shouted at Noel. "Leave her alone. I'm the one you want!" Hopefully...my study of Tager's fists were correct and these gloves should work. He began charging an electrical ball in his hands and threw it at Noel. She quickly pulled up her barrier and took no damage.

"Ha! Is that all you got?" She sneered.

"Nope." Mark said with a grin as he put out his fist and used it's magnetic powers to pull Noel in using Magnetism. Once close enough, he threw his other fist right at her and knocked her back. "Ha! It was a success!"

"Tail Boy!" Taokaka cheered as Mark punched Noel. "Woah! That was super cool!" She yelled happily.

"And... a little boring," Marianna added, revealing herself from the shadows. "Too bad it ended so quickly, I was looking forward to a good show."

((Oh, you thought the battle was over?))

"That's enough, Lieutenant," the blonde-haired officer stated, walking out of the shadows as well. "You seem to have lost sight of your objective."

"Uh oh...More of them." Mark put up his fists ready to attack.

In less than five minutes, that huge bowl of ramen was gone. Rena? had left the fee that she owed on the table, then walked out of the emo corner and onto the streets again... but her absent mind let her wander over to the source of all the fighting. 'Damn, I guess I'm just naturally drawn to trouble. Sad-assed law enforcement just has to be around too...' Her feet move towards them as she smirks from under her hood, though her mind's telling her to do the opposite.

"Lieutenant, you are required back at NOL headquarters," Jin said, eying the spectators wearily. "That is a direct order." Tao hissed as Jin took a small step forward.

Tao doesn't like him either!

"Noel feebly got back up. "...Yessir." She left still covering her wound with her left arm.

"As for you," Jin said, turning to Mark, "M-59, be thankful that Sector Seven is the least of the NOL's worries at the moment."

MArk cringed at being called by his "official" name. "Don't call me that!" He lunged at Jin with fists sparking with electricity.

Marianna didn't have a clue about what they were talking about. She stood there, half-listening, and absentmindely scratching the tip of her nose. 'How boring, we go from fighting to talking. I came at the worst time.' But when the beast-boy jumped toward the newcomer, Marianna jumped back into attentiveness.

"Great, maybe we can have some fun now," she said, a smirk on her face as she contemplated this fact.

"Freeze," Jin stated, making a block of ice appear in the path of Mark. "Shatter," he said a moment later, the block of ice breaking into thin, sharp pieces.

Mark quickly sheilded his face with his arms as he flew being cut by the cold, peircing ice as he continued flying toward Jin.

Jin backstepped and formed a giant block of ice underneath him. He rode on it quickly towards Mark, his sword extended towards his opponent. Tao could only watch, as she couldn't join in on a one-on-one fight. Not only was it poor etiquette, but Tao could also hurt Mark by accident.

A gentle breeze blew into Carl's cape and up into his chest. He let out a small sigh as he let himself be engulfed in the calming wave. "I know, sis. But... I don't know if I can let myself lose you again. I've been here for three years, worried that if I went after him, I would lose you. I don't want that to happen," he said up to the doll, Aida. It had been three years since his meeting with all those warriors. He almost lost her then, and has lived in the city for years.
He hadn't grown up much since then. His hair had gotten a little longer and he had to get a new, slightly bigger suit. Nirvana was the same, but had some smudges on her body. "But... I want to see you again, Aida. I want to taste your cooking so bad. I don't know what to do," he told her as tears began to crawl down his face.

Joseph made his way through the sewers of Kagutsuchi. He felt a strange power coming from the sewers. The power of knowledge. He had to find it, as he needed to understand his Garm more. Lately, he had been hearing a voice from it, telling him what to do. Controlling him. He needed to know if his emotions were his own, or Garm's.

Mark grabed Jin's sword and felt its burning ice cold seep through his metal gloves. "Take this!" He unleashed an electrical shock through the sword and to Jin.

Jin smirked as the electrical wave filled his body. The pain only drove him more. He used the sword - which was being grabbed by Mark - to unleash a torrent of ice on his opponent.

MArk was encased in ice and thrown back by the attack. He felt the ice erode his body as he tried to breack free. He quickly did gasping and panting for air as he broke out.

'Food and entertainment for cheap,' Rena? continues to just watch and keep herself unnoticed and hidden, having nothing to do with this for the moment. Her hair lightly lifts up in the wind as the fight continues. She didn't worry about being found out. After all, what would 'Rena? Taylor' be doing here of all places?

Joseph continued to look around but couldn't find anything. Suddenly, data began to come processing into his mind, displayed behind his eyes. A fight was shown to have broken out, with a 100% chance of a Nox Nyctores being used. The Library was on the move, as they controlled most of the cursed weapons in the world. "Cautious," he told himself as he disappeared into thin air, leaving nothing but a soft blast echoing through the caves.

He reappeared in Lost Town, home of the Kaka clan and sanctuary to things like himself. The peaceful sound of the Kaka kittens flowed into his ears as he sat down on a broken down couch that was inside his base of operations, at the moment. He knew the monster came her to eat, so when Joseph wasn't out looking, he rested and recharged himself at this area. He was trying to home in on where the fight was going on, but he couldn't tell exactly. Maybe Orient town? That was one area he wouldn't be able to enter anymore, as it was too dangerous.

Jin frowned disappointingly as Mark broke the ice prison. "I couldn't see why the NOL would want you," he said. "You're so weak." He quickly ran up to the boy and made multiple swipes with his sword.

The attacks cut deep into his arms but Mark was not phased by this. They simply healed themselfs seeming to be woven back together by small metal strands. "It's not my strength they want...It's my knowlege." He then put out his open hand and shot a shockwave out of it at Jin. These gloves...I don't know how much longer I can use them without overheating.

Jin put up a barrier to block the attack, but not without sapping quite a bit of his strength. Those gloves must have taken more out of me than I thought... "I'll end this misery," he stated, running up to Mark and making a large swipe with his sword, sending shockwaves after it in case he missed.

Mark jumped up over the swipe while he blocked at the shockwave that knocked him a good ways back. "Tao...I don't think I can hold up longer. We have to get out of here!" Mark turned around and began to run down a dark ally.

Tao nodded and began to run after Mark. "Get back here, you cowards!" Jin shouted, running after the scientist and vigilante.

Mark jumped onto the wall next to him and dug his fingers into the wall. He protrudded his claws, ripping his gloves but also giving him more grip in the process. "Tao! This way." He continued climbing the wall.

Tao ran up next to Mark and began climbing the wall as well. Jin caught up with them and shot an icicle at Mark.

Mark turned around just in time and stopped the icicle with his two tails. His face was full of shock as the tip of the icicle was right in his face. "I...I didn't know I could do that with my tails..." He dropped the icicle and continued climbing until reaching the roof.

Tao stopped to look in awe at Mark's amazing maneuver. "Woah..." she gasped, watching him drop the icicle. Jin saw his opportunity and shot an icicle at Tao. The shot hit its mark dead on, momentarily freezing the vigilante. She fell off the wall and landed with a crash, the ice around her breaking.

"Tao!" Mark jumped down and landed on his feet. He ran over to Tao and picked her up. "Are you okay?"

"Tao's sleepy nyao..." The Kaka warrior muttered, struggling to get up. Jin walked over to Mark.

"Give it up, M-59. You're coming back to Headquarters with me, or your little friend here is going to get it bad."

"...Alright...I'll come with you. Just don't hurt her." Mark said with a sullen face walking towards Jin.

Kokonoe walked up from behind Joseph. "Well well. What do we have here? Another failed attempt by the NOL to create another Nox Nyctore? Or maybe they're trying to create an equal to Tager, ha!" She said turning her back on him. "I know you betrayed the Library. I can see many upgrades that could be made to your body to make you faster, stronger..."

"I believe things have gone on here long enough," a voice said from behind Jin. He turned in surprise to see a small cat-person - like Tao, except his face was showing. A patch covered one of his eyes, and he had two swords strapped to his back.

Grimalkin... A voice creeped into Jin's head, though he did not know whose it belonged to. He also couldn't tell why, but he didn't think he should mess with this person. It was then that he made the connection. The overwhelming power, the appearance... it had to be him. "Hm," Jin sheathed his sword, walking away from Mark. "You win this time, M-59," he said plainly. "Just don't count on the strongest creature in the world to come to your rescue next time." With that, he parted.

There's that term again... I haven't even fought in decades, Jubei thought, keeping a straight face as the NOL officer walked past him. How do they know I still have my power? How do I know?

"Entity: Unknown. Compromised. Data on target," he began as information gently started to flow into his mind.

"Kokonoe. Daughter of legendary heroes. Leader of Sector Seven. Fighting power, unknown. Mode of elimination of threat, two options. Escape, fight. Fighting is risky, but, exhilarating!" Joseph explained as he put his left hand in his pocket, putting his right swiftly in front of his face, static gently flowing across it.
Tager. More data flooded his mind.
"Tager. Great leader during the war. Dog-boy of Kokonoe. Fighting power, supreme. Mode of elimination, none. Where is he?" Joseph asked innocently as a small smile crossed his face.

Mark was stunned at seeing Jubei and how he had just saved his life. "Uh...Uh...T-Thank you gran-" He covered his mouth with both his hands. Oh crap! That's right he doesn't know..."I mean, thank you Jubei."

Kokonoe slipped her right hand into her pocket. "Oh...Tager's off on a...certain task." She pulled her hand out of her pocket and slipped a pinklolipop into her mouth.

Only thing is, I do know, Jubei thought, maintaining his indifferent face. "Don't mention it, kid," he said. "Is your friend over there going to be alright?" Tao opened her eyes, which lit up when they saw Jubei.

"Cat person!" She said, smiling.

Joseph lifted his left hand out of his pocket and put both of his arms to his side. A melancholic look planted itself on his face. "Kokonoe. I'm sorry, but upgrades aren't really needed anymore. I prefer to think of myself as more human than robot now," he told her as he began to move next to her.
He told her, "I know what you want, and I'm not interested in become a slave for your purpose. Besides, he helped build me. If anything, I'd choose his side, not yours. Though I will say I don't agree with what he is doing. I promise you, as long as he continues what he is doing, I won't be your enemy or ally," he told her.
"Of course, I might change my mind if you tell me something. I'm sure you can help me. So do so, and tell me, where the true Azure Grimoire is. Or any other Nox Nyctores would work."

"Yeah...I think she'll be okay." Mark said.

"Hm...So that's how it's going to be." Kokonoe said with a slight frown upon her face. "Ragna...he's been out of Kagasutchi for quite some time and I honestly don't know what he's up to but he can't be far from this place. If he ever comes to this city again, I'll be able to pinpoint his location." She turned and started walking away. "That's all I can tell you."

Tao rubbed her eyes and got up, suddenly angry. "Tao can't believe she lost! Tao needs to get stronger!" She shouted. Tao needs to protect her friends! Jubei smirked.

"You have an interesting taste in friends," he told Mark, watching Tao punch the air.

"Well...she's a nice girl. Now if you excuse me, I need to get going and make some repairs." He began walking away.

Jubei stopped Mark from walking for a moment. He whispered to him, "Tell your mother..." he paused, "...I'm sorry." With that, he seemingly disappeared. Tao walked up next to Mark.

"Cat Person is a really weird guy," she said, staring at where he was a few moments ago.

Oh...Well...I guess I was wrong before. "Yeah." Mark replied. "He sure is..."

"Is Tail Boy hurt?" Tao asked, stretching her sore and aching muscles.

"No..." Mark said taking off his torn and ripped gloves. "But these are going to need some repairing."

Carl quietly moved through the city. Everyone kept looking at him and his sister strangely. Why did they always look at us?
"Is Tail Boy hurt?"
"Taokaka?" Carl exclaimed. He looked in the direction of the voice and saw Taokaka along with another boy. She was stretching and looked like she had been in a fight.
Carl walked down towards them slowly, cautious that the enemy could still be there. Or it might have been this other boy.
"Taokaka. It's been too long. Are you doing alright?" Carl asked as he moved to her side, not taking his eyes off the other boy.

Joseph watched the cat leave and continued doing his operations. "Compromised. Area: Unsafe. Moving to new location," he said aloud as the space around him began to tear, he moved into the portal to his next destination.

Mark took a quick glance at the boy before his eyes locked onto Nirvana. That's...the Nox Nyctores Nirvana. Why does this boy have it?

"No need to worry, little guy!" Taokaka said, not paying much attention to his statement about getting taller (if she admitted to it, she would have to come up with a new nickname for him, which would hurt her brain much more than needed). "Tail Boy is a friend of Tao!"

"OH, yeah. I am." Mark said nervously. He didn't want to get into another fight so soon.

"Oh, alright," Carl joyfully said as Aida stood up straight again, creaking more and more.
Carl's face got serious. "But I can tell, you've been in a fight. What happened? My sister and I are quite curious," Carl asked the boy. He knew that if he asked Taokaka, he wouldn't be able to get even half the story.

"Well...It turns out that the NOL are after me." Mark stated. "First there was this girl with two energy guns and then a second guy who had some sort of ice sword. Luckily, Jubei came just in time to save both our asses."

"That's right, meow!" Tao said, agreeing with Mark as she licked the remaining ice from the battle off her sleeves. "Cat Person is a real neat guy!"

"Noel and Jin are here? Great, that means something big is going down. What do you think, sis?" Carl asked Aida, looking up to her for comfort.
After a few moments, he looked back down towards both of them. "Listen, I'm not sure what the Library is doing here, but if you've gotten into a fight with them, then your in trouble. I'd lay low for awhile. Keep yourselves safe, I just got my lead," Carl told them. He really was concerned for them, and wanted to help Taokaka, but he couldn't leave this opportunity to talk to Noel again.

((BTW, what about the whole, "I, Terumi, send Tsubaki to assassinate Noel and Jin?"))

"Good luck with that, little guy," Taokaka said. "Don't worry about us; Tail Boy and Tao will be just fine. Stop by the Kaka Village when you're done, meow!"

"Yeah...Hey, that...sister of yours seems like she can fight." Mark said taking another look at Nirvana. "Would you happen to be a vigilante?"

Marianna hadn't been paying attention to the conversation, and was promptly daydreaming of how the fight should of gone before it abruptly ended, until she heard the word 'vigilante'. Marianna immediately perked up, and looked around as if she had just noticed there were two new people there.

"What, who's a vigilante?" she asked quickly, looking around.

((Wait, weren't we in an alleyway just a second ago?))

"Well, actually..." Carl began before he heard a voice. He promptly noticed that there was another person there.
"Jeez, no matter what, there is just more and more people here, huh sis? Listen, it's getting too crowded here. I don't have time to waste. Bye Toakaka," he told Taokaka. His sister leaned down in a slow, rusty manner and set her arm down. Carl heart warmed as he jumped on his sisters comfortable, safe arm, and jumped off onto the rooftops. He had one place set in mind. Library headquarters.

Information continued to flow into his mind. "Destination confirmed. Just outside Orient Town. Alley. Would any of you happen to be NOL?" Joseph asked them in an innocent voice.

Mark shouted and fell to the ground. "Good God! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" He paused for a second. "And...no, we're not the NOL..."

"Unfortunate. Data: obtained. Oh would look at that. Magnetic fists. And your DNA. I met up with someone you might know. Does Kokonoe ring a bell. I wonder what you mean to her. Maybe an experiment? I want to know. Would you come with me for a bit? I need your help for getting some information I need," Joseph told Mark, the boy who's data he had just downloaded.

"U-...Um...Okay." Mark got back up. "What, exactly, do you need?"

Tao shuddered slightly at the sight of Joseph. "I don't know who you are, meow, but I don't want anyone else try to take Tail Boy again!"

"Hold on Tao." Mark said putting up a hand to stop her. "I don't think he wants to hurt me...right?"

"No, I wouldn't hurt you. I just need a hostage. Or maybe even a bargaining chip," Joseph said as he lifted his hand and placed it in front of Mark's face. In an instant, they were in his house at Lost Town.
"That was your first time being near the Boundry, I hope your still alive. Are you?" Joseph said in a concerned voice. He didn't really care that much. He was glad that went smoothly.

"The hell?" Rena? tilts her head to the side and sighs. "Guess my services weren't needed after all. Oh well," she starts to turn around to leave the area. 'Can't stay in one spot too long.'

"Whoa," Marianna said as 'Tail Boy', it seemed his name was, disappeared. "This place... is weird."

"Meow?!" Tao hissed and clawed at the air where Mark and Joseph were a few moments ago. "Where did Tail Boy go?!"

Joseph looked at the boy as he patted himself down. "So you are alive. Good to see. I'm not quite sure if a regular human being would.... let me try that again. Not sure if a cat could or would be able to get used to being so close to the Boundary, but we might have to move again soon. Try not to get to attached, would you? It's for your own sake," he told Mark very kindly as he pulled his left hand off and started tinkering with it.

He looked back down to his hand after the explanation and started to pull the skin off of it. Under was some steel and wires.

Garm. Joseph had been messing with it for a while. When he first got it, it was just steel. Now, it had integrated with Joseph and held parts of Joseph body. Assimilated him into its own being.

"Hooray!" Taokaka cheered as she began to follow Renae. She began to hum quietly to herself again. "Meow, meow, meow, adventure, adventure, meow..."

'Now where could he have gone?' Rena? starts trying to figure out what all of that was about in the first place. She may not know their destination, but like all her other jobs, she had to start digging somewhere. 'Who was that and what does he want with...' Rena? glances back at the merry cat-girl. 'Tail Boy... They took off awfully quick.' "Hmmph, maybe he was up to no good," the freelance worker mumbles to herself.

"That kid needed a hostage, so he took... Tail Boy..." Marianna said, walking directly behind Renae and Tao. "I don't see how you'll find him, 'vanishing' doesn't seem to leave any traces behind."

Tao turned around to see Marianna walking right behind them. "Another weird lady, meow?"

Joseph finished putting Garm on and felt the sting as all the wires began to reattach themselves. "Alright then, let's head..." Joseph began until his face froze. He looked through Mark with a straight face, information flooding his mind. He had found it. The home of the Alucard family, and the location of Valkenhyne.
A small chuckle escaped Joseph as he looked over at Mark. "Sorry, guess I was wrong. Your no longer necessary," he told him as he put his right hand in his pocket, placing Garm in front of him. "Terminate: Begin!"

"Part of my job is to find what can't be found," Rena? shifts the weapon on her back, under her cloak, and continues walking. "Nothing or nobody ever just vanishes and escapes from me." She looks back at Tao. "Hey, Neko-san, you don't happen to have 'Tail Boy' senses or anything that would make this any easier, would ya?"

Mark was a bit thrown back. Wait...if he's not trading me into the NOL then how will I steal their information!? Mark quickly reached into his pocket and threw a tracking device at Joseph. I'll need him for later...If this thing lands on him, that is.

"Huh, are you talking to Tao?" The cat girl asked, pointing at herself. "Tao's name is not Neh-koh-sahn," she said, taking the time to pronounce each syllable. "Tao is Taokaka!"

"Okay, okay, just stop calling me 'Weird Lady.' My name is Rena?, okay?" Said assassin replies, stretching her arms. "I can't be that weird, can I?" 'If I was, I wouldn'tve gotten this far...' "But anyways, let's keep looking!" She picks up the pace. 'I was hiding there for that whole conversation and fight. Maybe there's a hint to where they went from then...?'

Mark reached into his pockets and pulled out his two worn and tattered gloves. They barely worked but he wasn't going to be sending out any projectile attacks any time soon. "Take this!" Mark barely dodged as small particles of ice ripped through his clothes. "Holy poop!" Mark landed staring wide eyed at Joseph. He...he can do all that? He didn't know what to do now. This wasn't worth it. He'd have to retreat for now. And so he turned his back on Joseph and began running.

Taokaka didn't hear Marianna as she was already zooming down the street levels to get to the Lost Town. Got... to... save... Tail Boy! She thought between breaths as she approached the village.

Rena? wordlessly and effortlessly followed Taokaka through the streets. 'We may have something, we may not. But if we're going there...' "Hmph, careful not to tire yourself out too soon, in case there's another fight!"

Mark, knowing the BlazBlue mechanics oh so well, simply jumped high into the air knowing the Ice Car couldn't stop until it hit the edge of the screen.

Tao finally stopped for a breather when she got into the middle of the village. She raised her ears up to see if she could hear anything. Nothing at first, but then, very faintly... she could hear the sound of an overused attack that begins a stale combo. "Tail Boy!" She yelled, rushing towards the direction of the sound.

Marianna followed behind them, now lost in a daydream. It seemed oddly real to her, but she couldn't think of how. 'When have I ever known a scientist?' she asked herself. 'And time travel doesn't exist. Then why does it all feel so... vivid. As if I've been there before. As if... As if it all happened before.' Marianna snapped out of her daydream, right at the climax, when she heard the cat's shout. "Damn it," she muttered angrily, but quickened her pace and followed along. She desperately wanted to know what happened next, after the manic speech of the professor. She had a sudden chill and knew, whatever it was, it was something bad.

Joseph crushed through the wall of the house and landed outside gently on his feet. He slowly turned around and looked at Mark through the dust and ruble.  "Data: Termination. Download: Beginning," Joseph said as Garm turned back into his fist.
A small laugh came from Joseph. "You sure know how to run, don't you? Let it be known to your life, if you keep dodging, I'll stop using others powers and use my own. Now why don't you use those fists of yours some more and give me a warm-up. I've got a certain criminal that I need to get ready for," Joseph told him with his fists on his waist.

Criminal...probably refering to Ragna... Mark put up his fists ready to strike and then decided that since they were already ripped apart at the fingertips, he might as well put out his claws too. "Well, if that's what you want." Mark leaped at Joseph and went for a claw swipe with his right arm.

Taokaka ran up to the broken house to see Mark and Joseph fighting outside of it. "Tail Boy, are you okay?" She asked, positioning herself so that she wasn't close enough to interfere, but also so she wasn't far away enough for her not to be able to help if something went wrong. "Tao is on your side!"

"Hmp!" The fist his Joseph head on, the power flowing through him and obliterating the soil he stood on.
"YOUR DATA IS MINE!" Joseph to him as Garm transformed into a small knife. With electricity flowing through his body, Joseph took a small swipe at Marks face, just cutting it till blood splatted out. It landed on the dagger and was absorbed into it. Once he had obtained it, he allowed the force to finally fling him back. He tumbled across the ground until he came to a halt.
He stood up slowly and meaningful. He was barely phased by the attack. He looked down to his arm and saw blood, yes blood, flowing from his arm. A look of dissatisfaction crossed his face. "Data: Lost. Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi, Noel Vermillion, Iron Tager, Bang Shishigami, Carl Clover, Nu, Jubei, Hakumen, Nine. You LITTLE BI*CH!" Joseph yelled in pure hatred. "I will never, ever, be able to get half of those back!"
Joseph appeared behind Tao and Mark suddenly and made them butt heads as hard as he could. Throwing Tao to the side, he picked Mark up by the head and threw him into the ground.
"All I wanted was just a little sample, just to know her a little more...." Joseph told him as he got close to his face. "Your a weak little punk. I'll make sure you pay for this one day. Maybe you'll be stronger by then," Joseph told him as he saw a small crowd begin to surround them. Spitting on his face, Joseph jumped through a hole in the roof and vanished.

((EDIT:Alright, this post just seems God mod when I look at it, so I'll go ahead and explain Joseph. He is being controlled by Garm more than any other Nox Nystores system. He, therefore, can go beyond any human capability(think Nu with Susano armor) and can sustain heavy damage, move faster than mostly anything, but it injury's him pretty good. He stores and downloads all the data he collects from blood in a satellite. His goals are the all the Nox systems, the fake Azure, and to meet the new Saya clone, because he wants to meet someone like himself.
And yes, he does have weakness'. He can injury himself to much and leave himself open, or if he's processing data he must freeze and totally confirm it like any old model of cyborg, or if the satellite is destroyed he is useless.
1 last thing, he lost the power to travel near the boundary when he lost Nine's blood.
God he didn't seem this powerful when I first thought of him

Mark was knocked unconcious on the ground. "Ugh..." That was what his mind resembled now. He just laid there waiting for the pain to subside.

In the lab, a little blue light lit up and Kokonoe got up to look at it. "...What's he gotten himself into now?" She grombled as she entered one of the pods that would take her closest to Mark.

"Is Tail Boy sleepy neow?" Tao asked, lying down beside him, yawning. "Tao is getting tired too, meow..."

"He looks unconscious," Marianna replied after quickly checking his heart, "but he's not dead." Marianna turned around to look for the perpetrator, but he had escaped. "I wonder who that guy was and what he wanted? He seemed pretty mad off... Something tells me this isn't over for 'Tail Boy'. We definitely haven't seen the last of him."

Kokonoe walked out of the pod and into the Kaka Village. She walked over to where Mark was laying on the ground. "Well, it seems you've had a rough day." She kneeled down and put her hand on his forehead. He opened his eyes slightly.

"...Oh, hi Mom." He said in a weak voice.

"I see you went ahead and used your new toys without even testing them out. That's not how you usually act." Kokonoe said.

"Well...I needed to help Tao..." He said as he suddenly felt dizzy and closed his eyes again. He was unconcious again. Kokonoe lifted Mark up and craddled him in her arms.

"Let's get you back to the lab." She said walking off back towards the pod.

"Oh, hi Tail Lady!" Tao said, leaping back up on her feet and walking towards the pod with Kokonoe. "How have nyew been?"

"Oh, conducting experiments. Analysing data. You know, the usual." Kokonoe said as she stepped into the pod. "And for the last time, my name isn't 'Tail Lady' it's Kokonoe. If you can memorize one thing with that tiny brain of yours, let it be that."

"Okay!" Tao said as Kokonoe entered the pod. "Tao is sorry, K..." She paused, trying to remember and sound out her name. "K... Ko... Koka..." Tao's ears dropped as she appeared crestfallen. "Tao can't do it, meow. Sorry, Tail Lady."

Kokonoe let out a sigh as the pod suck down into the Earth. I don't know why I even bothered...

Taokaka jumped back in surprise as the pod disappeared into the ground. Meow... Tao forgot to tell Tail Lady to tell Tail Boy that she hopes he gets better soon... She suddenly became sad. "Neow what should Tao do?" She asked out loud to herself.

Kokonoe took Mark back to his room and laid him down on his bed. She took off the torn and ripped gloves and placed them back onto the table and left the room...Until she quickly poked her head back inside the room and took the gloves. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I made some...improvements." She then left the room to let Mark rest.

Carl walked up to the NOL's headquarters of Kagutsuchi. He crossed his hand in front of his stomach as he always did when in thought. "This is the NOL, sis. We aren't going to be able to go with what we always do. We might have to be bureaucratic about it. Can I trust you to protect me if anything happens?" He asked Aida, true terror in his voice. Through the past few years, his dependence on his sister had grown exponentially.

A big, shaggy dog-like man crept into the office of his master. He stood by the doorway, sniffing all around him. He detected no new scents, and so he allowed himself into the room.

Jin sat in the room as K-9 entered, looking over at Hazama. Is this guy for real? Do we even need more people like this? He sighed as he looked back at K-9, waiting for Hazama to speak.

Hazama smirked as he looked up from the counter. His hat was still low enough on him to block the sight of his eyes and only a little bit of his green hair could be seen. "Ah, yes I did." Said Hazama as he stood up, with his hat still obscuring his eyes. "There's a certain scientist I want you to find." He said holding up a few blue hairs inbetween his fingers. He handed them to K-9. "But...your first objective isn't to capture him. Bringing him back now would spell the doom of the NOL." He lifted his head but his eyes were closed as he smiled an evil smile on his face. "I simply want you to observe...and if you must, spar a little bit, but no more!" He opened his eyes and his eyes were like that of a snake and almost gave off a yellow glow. "We can't be having them get suspicious...especially after two other officers directly attacked him without orders!" He slammed his fist onto his counter but quickly got back his composure and gave off an evil smile. "That is all...you may go now."

He sat back down and pulled his hat back over his eyes. He then turned his head toward Jin, hat obscurring his eyes. "As for you...I order you not to attack M-59 until further notice!"

"Understood," Jin said, after tensing up slightly. "May I ask why?" He knew his question would most likely not be answered, seeing as how he was dealing with the intelligence division, but he saw no harm in asking.

"I simply want you to observe...and if you must, spar a little bit, but no more!" He opened his eyes and his eyes were like that of a snake and almost gave off a yellow glow. "We can't be having them get suspicious...especially after two other officers directly attacked him without orders!" He slammed his fist onto his counter but quickly got back his composure and gave off an evil smile. "That is all...you may go now."

He sat back down and pulled his hat back over his eyes. He then turned his head toward Jin, hat obscurring his eyes. "As for you...I order you not to attack M-59 until further notice!"

"Yes, master," K-9 growled. He sniffed the blue hairs carefully, analyzing the data. Then, he shook his shaggy head fiercely for a moment, as if to rid himself of the putrid scent, and then backed out of the room.

K-9 was on all fours, running with amazing agility out of headquarters, and soon out of sight. His nose was working, he was following the scent, his mind was already calculating where this target of his had gone.

"K-9 will find," the dog growled. "K-9 will track the hunted down." 'And then,' thought K-9, 'K-9 will destroy...'

"Hmm...? Who exactly is this 'Rawrgna?' I can put off this fee and help look for this guy if you want," Rena? offers. 'Besides, this is getting more interesting than the ordinary jobs.'

Hazama simply sat at his desk with his head down. "Ge get Noel for me. She was supposed to be here by now." He growled.

Carl walked towards the door when he saw a dark figure jump out. A dark feeling emitted from it. One that he had felt years past.
An evil he didn't want returned.
"Sis, we have to follow him," Carl said as bravely as he could. Nirvana stood there silently as Carl jumped back on her arm. They took of at breakneck speed after the evil shadow.

Jin nodded before turning to leave the office. "Very well," he said as he walked out of the room. Simple enough... only problem is the girl's been acting so odd lately, it's hard to know where she'll be.

Tao shook her head. "Nyah, Tao was supposed to find him a long long long time ago. Don't think it matters nyow." Her ears perked up slightly as a strange scent hit her... she thought nothing of it.
