An update that provides a behind-the-scenes enhancement to the Nintendo Channel was made available.

um well so I turned on my wii today and noticed that the icon for my nintendo channel on my menu was going super fast...like the words that advertise new videos were flying by. I deleted my channel and save data and redownloaded, then reinstalled it. now when i see it i have to click it first to get it off the part with the black tv lines then go back and it starts. it still has the super fast words. can anyone help me fix it???

Hi!

We are aware that the issue you reported is happening for some people, and we are working to resolve it. As you noted, deleting and re-downloading the channel will currently not fix the channel's display issue. Rest assured, we'll update you once this has been resolved. Thank you for your patience.

Wow thanks for your help!  I didn't think others were having this problem as well because my friend told me his nintendo channel was just fine, so I guess that means that some people have the issue and some don't.

Problem solved!

Last night, a new update became available for the Nintendo Channel which includes some behind-the-scenes changes to the channel.  This update should also provide a fix for anyone experiencing problems with the ticker. A Wii menu update is not needed to access the channel. Anyone who tries using the old version of the Nintendo Channel will be prompted to do an update. Simply go to WiiWare section of the Wii Shop Channel to download the update.

so, still as for the 'behind the sences' i have no clue.

It seems as if it is a fix, something must have corrupted the channel.
