I was brought, originally, to the first forum run by M_F by an Instant message from my friend. Then when they shut down, the link was posted to move here. so I did.

*slightly off topic* In an effort to recruit members, I just put the affiliate button in a link in my sig on other forums.

I just randomly went to it one day last week...I've been looking for something like this ever since the forums were shut down!  Haha kudos to whoever started this ;):)

Being a Knight of Hyrule at the original site's IPB forum, I was well aware of the move several days before it was announced.

When NSider blew, one of my former friends remembered that I had written a Pikmin 2 FAQ for GameFAQs. He used it to find my public email adress and tell me about this. Unfortunately, he ran off to NSider2 with the rest of the corruption. >_>

Heard about it shortly after Nsider's death from friends at Trivia HQ.

Reffered I guess. I first found the old version of this place via youtube. Then when it closed, I came here. Does that count?

i googled NSIDER FORUMS and saw a link to deviant art. i watch a show called eddsworld on that site, so i clicked it and saw a link to this at the bottom of the screen.

so far it looks like the IPB members make up a large number of users, while referrals, DIGG etc make up the rest of you! It also seems that I am awesome :P

I <3 the Admin option.

I said "affiliates", because even though I was an IPB member, I opposed M_F and I found out abou this site before IPB crashed.

From the IPB forums, it was known that They needed donation....

Well, I was searching Google for an NSider Sanctuary, found a site, saw this one as an affiliate, and whammo. Here I is.  :)

I got refered from a topic on GoNintendo to the old one that got hacked,then went to this one.

I think I found it through google.

One of my friend's friends on their own forum found out about this place, and linked me back when it it was still IPB. How they found out, I have no clue.

I was looking for game help on the Gamespot forums and saw somebody with a sig that said "The New Nintendo Forums!" or something like that. So I clicked it and found this place  :)

I came from Metroid_fan!'s forums

When old Nsider closed, I migrated to the SmashWorld Forums. There, someone referred me here.

I was here as an IPB member, and was recommended here by someone... I would have picked the IPB vote if I had noticed it before I submitted my vote. :|

I'm an admin/ was at the IPB forum.

I came here from the IPB forums which got there by the Youtube videos

Pikmin94 showed me it.

I found this place by looking up Nintendo Forums on google because the one on Nintendo.com shut down.

I was an IPB member, and I got there because some guy from Nsider 2 told me about it.

I googled "NSider." Guess what the second result happened to be?

I been gone a long time.

I was on M_F!'s board before the move, so I guess an IPB member.

What is this? Well, in this thread you tell us from what part of the internet you came from. This will be part of my ongoing research to see which sites are valuable places to advertise, etc. 

So, tell me where you came from! If you were part of M_F!'s forum....dont say so....please.

well, it all started when I went to google.
at the time, I was half way through Twilight princess, and I wanted to know some more info on midna. (Spoilers ftw. ::))
And I came to the Legend of Midna fan fic written by Echoes of Flame.
It was on old Nsider btw,

I read it, and it was amazing!
I wanted to post on it, so I made an account there.
It was named Triforceman22 because i love the Zelda series. and 22 is my fav. number. :P

so I read it, and posted, and I stumbled upon the smash board.
It became my new hangout. The Forums became my online home...
for about 3 months I spent all my time on Nsider when  was on the computer.

So, after a while, I made my own fan fic. Inspired by Echoe's work.
It was called soul Calibur, Link's journey.
(I remade it here. Can be found in the fan fiction board. ;))

so, after a while, my fic became pretty popular. (Having a whopping 70 pages,)
So life went on, and I made many friends there.
and then, it happened.

On sept. 17th it shut down.
and on that day, I lost many freinds.

I went to Nsider lounge.
(which I would have never known about if a user didn't tell me about it via PM)
and I found another link there that said "Replica of Nsider." Youk know what i'm talking about. ::)
so I went there for a week, found three of my old friends there too.
And then they made this site. I came here and enjoyed it.
I made many friends here. (Check my buddies, its 9 rows high. :D)

I made several intelligent posts on the smash boards)
and well, here I am right now. :)

Um, well, I made the site.
So here I am. ::)

Other, I guess...Found out Nintendo's forums went down, so I did a google search, checked out a couple of the listings & chose this one because it looked more comfy  :)

From M_F's forum.

I was on MSN. Someone showed me a link to a Digg page advertising M_F's Nsider forums. After mass chaos broke out I moved here.

So in short the IPB board. :P

Google. A last attempt to find a good subsitute for the old Nsiders (after joining some failed forums).

Keep on voting guys. Remember, this is also a refugees thread now :)

A couple months after Nintendo forums went down i decided to find what another one (They said in their "update" message to encourage others to make more forums).

I googled it and stumbled upon froum-nintendo. I stayed there for like 2 days then clicked on this site from the Affiliates bar sorta like you have and stayed here because of more activity and this site looks and feels more like the original Nintendo forums.

I was on Nsider2, then EJ snapped and mad everyone off.  Most N2ers have link to this place in their sig now.

i had an account here for since september but stuck with NS2, but now I'm kind of a drifter because I really don't like it over there anymore, I'm part of other sites, and I'm kinda new here. XD

Someone from Nsider2 sent me an email saying that EJ ruined NS2 and I should come here.

Kita recommended to come here, so out of boredom I did. :D

After NSider died and M_F's forums shut down, I got referred here by the MKDS community at NSider Refugee.

Affiliation, from zeldafreak008 on Silent Legends. I'm the assistant editor and decided to check the place out.

I heard about it, but had no want to join. Then I desperatly wanted a replacement for Nsider, and googled this. I think other is justified :).

I'm here due to a link in a sig.

After the original forums closed, I was browsing the desolate forum that seemed to be frozen in time.  Then I found a link in a sages sig to go to M_F's forums.  Well, after that forum pretty much blew up, I followed a link to this place, and went there.

hehe Mack Rules :P but La Pared actually told me about this place and told me that alot of the MSC'ers from the original nsider came here and one NS2 started going a little crazy i came here ;)

Had to dig around for the Nsider community since the old boards got shut down. 

I was referred here by NintendoFreak105, who I used to know from the old NSider Forums.  Thank GOD you people still do post count restorations.  I'd hate to lose my 3,000+ posts that took me some 4 years to get. XP

(Just curious, but how DO you get such accurate post counts?)

On M_F's forum, my frien, Herooftimeo0, told me about it. And I was like "I'm never going there, this place is awesome!" and he's like "Yeah, I totally agree!" But then the the site screwed us over, so we are like "Well f&$!" and ended up coming here ANYWAY! :P

Change final choice to HTA rules please.

Oldsider shut down right when I finally got time to register. I was sad. After a while I decided to google nsider forums. This place popped up first. I liked it better then the other places that showed up *coughNS2cough* so here I am.
