I'm not going to buy Pokemon X Version or Pokemon Y Version.  I'll wait for Pokemon Z Version.  unless there's a remake of Gold and Silver in that generation.

I'm just curious on why you think any of us care.
So why do you think we care?

I agree with you raquarian, I think I'll wait it out, as hard as it will be. the visuals and story in D/P were meh, but they're getting a major overhaul in platinum, so yeah, I'll probably do the same thing (d/p is the first generation where I haven't gotten both since firered and leafgreen)

The only thing I don't really get is how the heck Nintendo will think up 100+ new Pokemon. I mean, considering that most Pokemon are just real-life animals changed around slightly, and almost all animals have been used already, it seems a bit difficult in my eyes to find more animals to use.

Except maybe a sea urchin. That would just be awesome.

They can use animals again. And they have plenty of time to do it.

Of course they CAN, but how many creature options do they really have left?

Plenty, especially since they are now mutating animals, like Ligers and Tigons.

G5 will be an interesting series. I guarantee it's will be overloaded with new features that make the game extremely complicated. =P

It's already complicated enough for my tastes; heck, I never even got 'em all in Red/Blue.

I look forward to my Steel-type Eevee though.

Personally, I think Pokemon needs to become more complicated.
Betrayal, even unwilling, will sometimes be forgiven, but oftentimes the friendship will never heal, and the lost trust will never be regained.

Why, and what would you suggest be introduced?

One thing I can think of is having the Pokemon sprites actually changed based on damage, and having potions and stuff be visible in battle (show how they work), but that doesn't quite influence the gameplay itself.
