I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

I had a friend with one.

It was actually pretty sweet; I might have gotten one, if it weren't for the fact that it wasn't backwards compatible.

Doodle

Isn't it basically a slender GBA with a backlight and no backwards compatibility?

Yup, but it's just so small and adorable! It's the only handheld that can fit in your skinny jeans, which is perfectly fine because anything more than 32 bit is too mainstream for you, hipster.

No backlight is disappointing. So.... does it run on regular batteries? And is it GBA link compatible? I really know next to nothing about it.

It does have a backlight, and an internal battery. It can't use regular link cables without an adapter, and good luck finding the micro specific ones. But it does have an actual headphone port unlike the SP. (never did like the SP)

Backlight = good, but it needs an adapter? Damn, how am I gonna trade pokemon between Leafgreen and Emerald now :(

Oh wait, my GBA player can do that. Silly me.

How much do those things sell for, pre-owned?

You can still buy the cables and adapter from nintendo, apparently http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/retail/micro.jsp

And I bought my Micro local for $40 and the cheapest amazon price is about $50. For some reason the black one is more expensive >_<
