The high school I'm going to requires me to read 2 books over the summer. And seeing how school starts on september third I should start reading them.
The books are:
"Of mice and men"
and
"The curious incident of the dog in the night."
I need to know if those books are interesting and how many pages are the.
Thanks in advance.
You make reading sound like it's a chore or something.
Anyway, I know nothing about the second book, but Of Mice and Men is a fantastic book by John Steinbeck that is roughly 100 pages. Obviously the actual number of pages depends on which edition of the book it is.
Everyone needs to read of Mice and Men before they die.

I read that in English, 9th grade. I totally agree. Great book. Mr. Hayes made me appreciate it more than I would have in honors :)
Of Mice and Men is about 100 pages. I had to read it last year.

I didn't mean it like that I just wanted to know if the books are good.
I like reading if the books are interesting.
uhg. i have to read two books called The Secret Life of Bees, and some other thing called Shooter. Anyone know about those?

Don't use it, it takes the enjoyment out of a good book. It's for lazy idiots who would rather do the bare minimum than actually enjoy required reading.

hey thanks, that's just for me! I've already used Sparknotes to read classic American slave Narratives (the most boring book in the history of boring books) and Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (Most of it was boring). I'm on a role!
Silver, as much as that does sum up the major plot points, I don't appreciate you making fun of my favorite books.

Sorry. :(
"The curious incident of the dog in the night."
I actually have this book. It's written in a very strange manner, but it's one of the few I could finish on my own time. Of Mice and Men is decent, too.
