I hated it. It was obviously not child-friendly, because half the kids in the theatre were crying there ****ing heads off from 20 different scenes.

The only part I found amusing? When I heard one kid shout, "MOMMY!!! I DON'T WANNA BE FAT!!! *moan*"

Just because the people in the movie theater were idiots doesn't mean the movie sucks.

Saw it about a week ago. Loved it to death. <3
Pixar has once again made me commit to buying a DVD before a movie is even out of theaters. D:

Then again, I hate most G-rated movies anyhow.
Also, nobody laughed. I was wondering "Why didn't I go see 'Wanted'?"

Also, I saw Get Smart almost right after Wall-E, And I was laughing my head off. But, I'll leave that for another topic.

It was supposed to be different than other Pixar movies.

It was supposed to have a message.

It wasn't supposed to be a comedy.

Exactly why I loved it.

Then why did it appear in the Comedy Genre?
Obviously, A Movie in the Comedy Genre is supposed to be funny.

What movie reviewing site put it in the Comedy genre? If anything, it's in the romance genre because of the relationship between Wall-E and EVE.

Wall-E was originally planned to be the movie that came out after Toy Story, but it was shelved because the head of Pixar didn't want to make a romance movie at that point.

Just because it's made by Pixar doesn't mean it can have a darker theme and an ongoing romance.

Here's the genre, according to OH-So-Many sites:

"Animated/Family/Adventure/Comedy/Science fiction"

Don't blame the fact that I hate it, blame the people that chose the genre.

The correct way to classify Wall-E would be Animated/Romance/Drama.

There's not enough comedy in the movie for it to be a comedy.

Definately going to see this! Looks cool, and I expect nothing less from Pixar. In other news, I just saw You Don't Mess With the Zohan. I can now say that that may be the best moview Adam Sandler has been in in a looooong time! (and maybe of all time! :O )
...Are you high? Honestly, that movie practically relied on sexual jokes the entire time! Adam Sandler's best performance was in The Wedding Singer, hands down.
I said in a loooong time. The only recent one I saw was (saw and was are exactly the same but reversed, lol) Click, and this topped it. Of course he had better movies, but this was his best recent one. His best was Happy Gilmore IMO.
