Some rap is okay. But I mostly like rock, so I voted rock.
If I hate both, should I choose the one I hate less?
I hate rap more, so I chose rock...
You shoud have put a third option, because I don't like either.

Rap is just basically rhyming to a rythm, so I say rock.

Rock, without a doubt. I don't completely hate rap, but for the most part I dislike it.

Trying to avoid a flame war because people can't respect the opinion of others isn't being mad with power. I love both rap and rock, but I listen to more rap. There is no reason to insult the musical preferences of another person.
Also, "pimpin dem hoez", only describes a small portion of rap--mainly the stuff played on the radio. I listen to stuff with more political themes.
I started liking rap, but then I realized it was all fake. So I now only listen to oldschool rap. And I am starting to get into older rock, but I don't know enough about it to hold an opinion on it.

Absolutely right about that second part. 11/10 songs are about sex, drugs, girls and money. Also, they look horrendous in their shirts the size of blankets and jeans big enough to make a tent out of. It's pathetic.

Classic Rock is my favorite genre of music, and I listen to it almost exclusively. Bands such as AC/DC, Zeppelin, the Beatles, etc.

Yeah. Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Outerspace, NonPhixion, Army of the Pharaohs, Blue Scholars, and many other rappers of the underground variety are quite awesome.

You took the bait. I'm not dumb enough to generalize a whole genre of music by what the play on the radio.
I actually like some rap: the kinds like that. Songs that make sense, don't repeat one stupid chorus over and over again, and are about things that normal people would care about.
