But they used that as part of a joke on the show, so they couldn't really just take it out or replace it... And even if they did take it out (which would suck majorly), there's more things like that in the show. >.>; So they couldn't take ALL of it out, or it wouldn't be Lucky Star...

In the show, Konata parodies the Japanese commercial for the shampoo. Konata and co. also parody/reference anime/manga/Games/Japanese culture that would not be understood by the general American public, nor can the show be of any point without them.

I never saw Shin Chan in the US.  I thought they only did it for Europe!  Where can I see it?
