Senran Kagura Franchise Discussion Thread

We've already gone over Senran Kagura 2 in the Handheld board, but now I believe it best we expand the discussion to the Senran Kagura franchise as a whole. Not just to Senran Kagura 2, but to Burst, Shinovi Versus, the anime and the manga..... Even though the anime and manga are both really bad.  At least I think so.


I don't know about you all, but to me the Senran Kagura manga and anime are comparable to the manga and anime of Blazblue.  It resembles the source material, sure, but almost none of what makes the games fun or appealing are kept in.



Almost... Sure it gets some of the cutesiness right, but the drama and action of the games just aren't portrayed well, if at all.
