No poll.

Anyways, do you think Garchomp should be put back in the Overused tier or stay in Uber? With it's monstrous Attack and 102 Base Speed, it's too powerful for almost any Pokemon in the OU tier. But what causes concern is its 4x weakness to Ice.

Take for example:
252/252/6 Garchomp@Life Orb
Moves:
Fire Fang
Earthquake
Swords Dance
Outrage/Dragon Claw

Vs.

252/252/6 Weaville@Choice Band
Moves:
Trick
Ice Shard
Brick Break
Night Slash

Unless that 252 of Garchomp's EV's are HP, it's gone. However, Weaville are not extremely used.

What do you think of Garchomp? Should it be Uber or OU?

Uber.

As a Weavile user, it's not that simple. You have to take into consideration that the counter you are using to Garchomp is rather frail, and will shatter like ice. It'd take a lot of foresight to catch a Garchomp. In general, it is still overly powerful, and with only a handful of Pok?mon that can truly devastate it, it should stay where it is.

Uber. Macbeth summed up why pretty well, though another reason is due to its large move pool. Garchomp can cover most types you may use to counter and if you're up against someone whom is good at reading a person's next move then, your team could be completely destroyed.

Though it mostly uses seven moves:
Swords Dance
Earthquake
Fire Fang
Stone Edge (80% Accuracy)
Rock Slide
Dragon Claw
Outrage

Maybe so, but quite a few people come up with odd movesets to catch their opponent off guard.

The reason Garchomp was put into uber was mostly it's ability, and the fact that it has no counter. Things like Skarmory and Bronzong countered it decently, then Chain Chomp became more common. Sandstorm is present in most battles because of the usage of Hippowdon and Tyranitar, and with Garchomp's Sand Veil, he usually can get up a free substitute eventually, SD up, then sweep. He was also put into ubers because almost every team carried one, and made sure they had a few revenge killers for a Garchomp. This made the metagame all based around Garchomp, which was bad. In the current metagame, no one pokemon is the main threat. Scizor is countered by Zapdos, Salamence is beaten by different things depending on the moveset, Rotom by Machamp, and so on.

Uber.

Its not even its movepool.  One moveset was enough, SD Yache.
Nothing could step in without being 2HKO'd.
Weavile can't do poop other then revenge kill it.
It can switch in on an SD sure, but its not going to 1HKO with the first Ice Shard and I highly doubt that sash weavile is going to keep that sash with all the SS and SR running around.  And even past that, its still a gimmick.

Its a free kill on at least one pokemon, basically.

Yep.

I have seen Weavile take them out outside of revenge kills, but that only comes from a foolish moron sending them in against it while Weavile is setting up. Outside of that, it's too frail a Pok?mon to do much at all. That's disregarding the fact most Garchomp are out with a Sandstorm, as well.
