Who else is going to the midnight launch of Halo 3? I am. I'll probably go to my local GameStop at 9, pre-ring up, come back at 11:50, get it, go home, play it for about half an hour then go to bed.
I'm really excited. It's a bit of a downer though since my friends aren't very convenient for playing story mode (one will only play for a few hours, the other has SAT work, the others all have football)
Oh well, it'll still own

Why do you wanna get there early? Just freaking go to a different store that doesn't open at midnight before it opens and you get your copy. =/
My mom was suprisingly willing to go. I would have gone myself (supposed to take my license test this morning) but we didn't have the proof of insurance (company didn't send us one last time it expired) so we couldn't. my parents feel really bad about it so i don't think she could say no :D

Gamestop recommended I pre-ring it up, so when i come later i can just pick it up and go. It'll be less of a hassle then at midnight. I pre-ordered it at GameStop so i have to go there, not like i'd want to go anywhere else anyway.
I need to pre-order The Orange Box too.
