Now the song will never leave your heads for the next year. You're welcome. Still, it's something.
Also, apparently they reiterated that they are in fact working on a Megaman game. So it'll likely be revealed in a month or so, then cancelled the very next day. Also, they're making a commemorative anniversary statue for the 25th year (which was technically last year). This will, of course, be overpriced considering people will find the design copy/pasted from a fan statue made earlier. *ba dum tish*
Desperation, thy name is Capcom.
Still excited, though.
Update:
Capcom, Joystiq, and other first reporters are backpedalling on the Megaman news saying they never confirmed anything, and were merely in talks and that it was a translation issue. Cancelled before even announced! Attaway Capcom.
When will people get it? Capcom hates Megaman now because they hate Inafune and want to get back at him for leaving.
I'm glad Capcom is taking a break from Mega Man.
Seriously why is more megaman any better than more fighting games
lets try something new thanks

no company wants to take risks anymore
especially since every game costs millions and millions of dollars to make
you've got to go with the sure thing otherwise shareholders jump ship en masse
but why does everyone like playing the same game over and over again why is that successful
I just heard about this, I am excited.

it's human nature, people just want to stay with what they have because they know they like it rather than risk it on something they may not like
it fits perfectly with an industry run by investors afraid to try new things
I'd rather have a new F-Zero than a new Mega Man. And I love Mega Man. I don't see why we need a new Mega Man every year or so. It hasn't been that long since Mega Man 10 came out.

but see i play the same handful of favorite games over and over again every year i get that
but im not going to pay $60 to play them every year, why not just play the identical version you already own
intercourse megaman
i want duck tales
Sweet, Ducktales
but I'm not holding my breath for the Mega Man game. They had playable builds for the last few Mega Man games in development and they never came to fruition.
intercourse duck tales
i don't know what i want from capcom
This selling well is going to be Capcom's reasoning for giving us HD re-releases of the games they made twenty years ago instead of actually doing something new.

How is that any worse than churning out the garbage they have been releasing nowadays?
Point made.
I'm guessing you guys didn't check out Dragon's Dogma? It wasn't garbage.

The Good:
-Combat
-Party creation
-Gear
-Decent amount of content
-Exploration
-Challenging
-Decent amount of customization
-Sort of like a traditional fantasy Monster Hunter, but not really.
The Bad:
-With the exception of the boss monsters, the graphics are pretty mediocre. Environments look "brown" and uninspired except for a couple areas.
-The lore is pretty basic RPG stuff. Griffins, dragons, chimera's, etc.
-The plot is also pretty standard, starts out somewhat interesting and then ends on a low note
I wouldn't pay full price for this game, but honestly its more than worth 20 bucks. Nothing amazing, but I was just saying its not "garbage".
