How does this game rip-off Nintendo?

More specifically Final Fantasy Vlll

Lol reminds me of ff7 more just cuz... well... Just looks like it to me. :P I don't think making sonic and co. 3d was the best idea though... They kinda look scetchy if you know what I mean. :S The backrounds are nice though.

It looks good, and the background art looks a lot similar to Sly Cooper. I think a Sonic RPG is a great idea, and I hope it's good. I like every Sonic game except Tails' Adventure on Gamegear and the educational games.

I fail to see how this game reminds you guys of Final Fantasy.

Hand drawn/picture taken (more realistic) backround is in this game along with FF7 (The characters look all polygonal but everything else looks fine) But that's all we can tell out of the early screen shots. It's just that games usually don't do that anymore.

There are quite a few games that used/still use pre-rendered or hand-drawn backgrounds. If anything, it reminds me of turn-based strategy games; they often use this background idea.

Nope, the X360 version had achievements, downloadable content, and better controls because the PS2 and 3 controls suck in sonic games...

In my opinion, the Secret Rings was the worst Sonic game I've ever played. :-\ And no, I haven't played the Xbox 360/PS3 one.

Let me get back on topic. In the newest NP magazine, it talks about this game and it sounds really cool. The playable characters are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big, Shadow, and Rouge. I don't like Big so much, but I love all those other characters.
