Alright, one of my friends is practicing spriting and made this

An edit of Kirby using the browns in the Kirby games for the GBA and a little bit of fun with Paint. Now, his father is annoying and has parental controls on via Vista, so he can't install anything but things from Microsoft, really. So, he has nothing to make animations with. I stepped up and said "i can maek anehmayshuns lawl". Turns out I can't =/

So, I took the frames and made this.

Um, as you can see, one of the frames won't go away ;-;

What am I doing wrong.

Save as->filename.gif->export as animation->change the "frame dispersal where unspecified" to "One frame per layer (replace)"->save.

That should fix it.

No problem. =D

Here's another little trick you can use:
fill in all the transparent spaces with white, (transparent appears as a checkerboard design) and then go to "filters->animation->optimize (for gif)" and then save it with the frame dispersal set to combine. That's useful when you have a large (in terms of file size) animation.

*sigh* I miss the GIMP FAQ. D=
