It depends on what type of Pokemon.
Normal-Bibarel-can learn a lot of TMs and HMs others can't and can be obtained quickly in the begging of D/P.
Thunder-Luxray or Pikachu. I can't ever decide! :P
Rock-Graveler, of course! He's the only one who got a Tough Ribbon in all of my Pokemon! That, and he Ko'ed two of the Gym Leaders by himself.
Poison-Croagunk-He's just AWESOME!
Ghost-Gengar-Teach him Confuse Ray and Poison Jab and he'll crush almost any enime!
Flying-Staravia/Staraptor. I just like teaching him Steel Wing and Fly!
Fighting-Lucario. Who DOESN'T like Lucario?
Bug-Butterfree. He's a Bug Pokemon that can learn Physic moves. What's there to say?
Steel-Registeel.
Oh, wait a second, I forgot one....Glitch-Missingno.
Dark-Umbreon.
Grass-Turtwig.
Water-Buizel.
Pyshic-Uxie or Mew.
Dragon-Palkia.
Ice-Snovel.
Fighting-Machop.
