I play consoles more, most of the computer's I have ever used can't have more than one DVD based game on them without slowing down everything. -_-
I like point and clickers like Sam and Max, Pajama Sam, Spy Fox, Putt-Putt, Oregon Trail, and Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego.

PC all the way. That's almost all I play games on anymore. PC is more fitting for the kinds of games I play. FPS, RTS, and such. Not enough RPGs, but consoles are lacking those now, too.
Consoles only because I'm too poor to buy a nice computer and lack the knowledge to build my own.
Consoles. My computer is waaaaaaaaaay to slow to handle a game.
PCs are a hell of a lot better.
Mine sucks, though.
PC. Mods, custom maps, different graphics settings, and in some cases, PCs get games before consoles do, or that consoles just don't get.
Consoles, because our computer sux right now because of all the crap my little brother is downloading for SWBF2 and LOTR:BFME (Starwars battlefront 2 and LOTR: Battle for middle earth 2)

Consoles the most for sure.
Every so often I play emulated games on my PC, but, I hate using the keyboard.
I mainly use consoles, but often theres the off-chance i play on the PC
PC, purely for the FPS.
Battlefield 2 ftw.
You're forgetting a couple options.
Portable, Portable & Consoles, PC's & Consoles, PC's and Portable, or all three

I recommend FPS for PCs, but consoles are everything else.
EDIT: And of course, RTS.

IMO, the PC is better for RTS or MMORPGs. But the console it better at everything else. Not to say they dont handle eachothers job well. I like a bit of crossbreed. ;)
I could never imagine an RPG on a PC...
Consoles, since you don't have to buy an upgrade every year or so to keep running games. At least, in general.
Consoles, but my PC could run pretty much anything if I were to throw in another gig of RAM. Crysis and Assassin's Creed included.

Only if you have a liquid cooled system and are using SLi/Crossfire.

Considering the ratio of consoles to pc's in my room is 17:3... or 11:3 not counting portables.. I think I'll go with consoles.. >_>
Sims is the only game I have for the PC.. and it wasn't the most stable game I played.. consoles for me, through and through, no doubt.

As for me, I need a better graphics card and about another GB or so of RAM. Right now, the only way I can decently play Orange Box is in a window, in the lowest resolution possible, and on all low settings.
Consoles, mainly because my computer sucks. I can play most of the Orange Box games, though.

a fully tricked out PC is better than any console.....but that usually costs thousands upon thousands of dollars and more to keep it up to date.....
so unless you got a custom gaming rig, consoles are the way to go.

Not always...my rig in total is probably about ~$700-800, but I can run most anything. It's when you start going into the uber 1920x1200 displays, SLi/Crossfire, and liquid cooling you reach the uber 2000 dollar machine.

I plan on looking into a monitor that size, but I'm not paying too much for a card to run it at that. I've seen 35 dollar cards that run at that size too.
Of course, they suck ass, but it's not for games.
I play consoles but if I had a good gaming PC, I'd play more PC games

Which is why you get one of those $10 USB controllers, so good :)
I LOVE Console games, but on the PC you have more freedom and multiplayer features.
Consoles, PC games always frustrate me(I have a bad computer)
With the decline of excellent PC RPGs, I find myself playing a console more now days.
