What is a decent price range?
The top screen is backlit, but will not display much, if anything at all. The shell's hinge is broken. I think I can repair it with beginner's luck, but would anyone know of a good guide to do this at?

You're better off just buying a used DS, lol.
If you're still aiming to repair your DS then the top screen typically goes for 15 and the shell goes for 16-20 depending on the color. Red ones and custom colors typically are the ones that are 20. It'd be a better investment(not to mention cheaper) to just get a used DS.
