You see the Ancient Minister was walking by a dumpster in the 1980's one day and he saw all these robits in it. So he's all like cool, I probably can use these one day. So he scooped them up, and promised them all a loving home. When he returned home though he saw his wife sleeping with Mario, and from that day on, with the R.O.B.'s as his witnesses, he swore vengeance against anyone who affiliated with Mario. And that's why the Ancient Minister wants to destroy the world :)
