I just installed the latest version of pidgin.
I try to add an account, but it keeps telling me it can't connect.
Anyone got a clue what's wrong?


EDIT: Reinstalled in a different location and it worked. Wierd.

Not quite sure, try re-installing or re-starting, make sure you arent already signed in to the account you are adding.

Double check that you typed everything in right. I can't think of any other reason it'd mess up, but you could try Trillian.
