Who do you think is the strongest Melee character?
Just choose a Melee character to represent you. It will be a CPU on my Melee, and I'll duke your characters out in a Melee tournament. All you need to do is choose the character, and color.
The characters will start on Level 1, but will gain a level with each match they win. It will be a Double Loss knock-out, with up to 21 people competing. Just state your character if you wish to play.
I'll have commentary for the matches, in case you want to know a bit on how your character won or lost.

Commentary of Match
Link begins quick jabbing Marth, who stands there and takes it like a man. Link begins hitting Marth up, and doing more jabs, until the tables turn! Marth begins hitting Link, then they stare at eachother for a bit. It's a frenzy of staring and occasional hitting. Finally, a arwing hits Marth, but Marth comes back by almost hitting Link off... TWICE! Finally, on the third try, Marth is able to hit Link off the edge (bottom section of cruiser). Then, Link accidently falls off when getting hit by Marth's counter.
The counter begins...
5... They jump away from eachother
4... They begin running towards middle of ship
3... Link starts hitting Marth into the air
2... Marth recovers with a counter
1... They begin running at eachother again
END MATCH!

Pink Samus vs. Samus [Copy]
Stage: Brinstar Depths
Stock: 2

GO!
Java begins hitting Jr for a bit. Jr stands there, he hasn't hit Java yet. Finally, they both begin to fall off the moving stage and land on a small platform. Java gets back up, leaving the platform. Jr attempts getting up while the stage moves again, and he falls. Java is stuck on a very steep slant. Neither of them attempt to go down or come up. Then, the stage turns and Java falls to his death. It's a tied battle, folks! They begin attacking eachother with various smash kicks and bombs. Finally, Jr and Java are in the same predicament that killed Java last time, but with switched roles. Java not daring to go down, and Jr not daring to come up. Will the stadium move? Will Jr fall to his death and lose? Finally, after waiting here watching for a few moments, Kraid comes up and moves the stage, making Jr fall. He tries his hardest to get up, but can not.

I don't think these trivia questions are fair... not everyone can be on here all the time...
I'll be asking them at different times. Late into the night (well, this is night for me) and earlier in the days. They're just something extra to help make matches faster. It can get boring watching level ones against level ones duking it out... I mean staring it out.

I would have given you the level up, but that last argument that said "if you change the settings it says 'Purin'" changed my mind. It is Melee trivia, so I'll keep it the way it is. And I agree with whoever said we should make it a once a day thing. Also, the person who won last times can't play the next one. That makes it more fair.

Link makes the first strike, with Dr. following after with some strong smash strikes. They jump up to the left cliff and began hitting each other. Link starts hitting Dr. Mario so he must get magnetised. Then, some eggs get shot at Link, but Link recovers by hitting Dr. Mario almost off... Dr. comes back and they stare at eachother for a bit before Dr. Mario slams Link back to the edge of the screen! But, Link runs over and hits Dr. Mario. The damage is Link: 60% Dr. Mario: 104%. Dr. Mario starts hitting Link back on the same left cliff, and it looks like Link is going to die!
But the tables turn when Dr. Mario shows some mercy and does not hit a final blow. Instead, Link flips around Dr. Mario and crashes him off the screen! Then, as Dr. Mario is coming back from the platform, the timer begins to go off! With Link at 83% damage, can Dr. Mario get Link off before the final countdown number?

Just finished Grimtuesday vs. Andrew match. I made a video and am uploading it now. For the next match that I make a video for (which may only be a few since it takes a lot of time to upload) I may add some text before and after the match to make it look more professional... Not sure. Anyway, I'll post the link once it has finished uploading and stuff.

I don't see any comments, but thanks :P. And as for in the beginning, I forgot I was using my newer Melee memory. I've got a few versions. I've got my finished one, my everybody but Game and Watch one, the one with half of the characters and half the stages, and the one with only the starters of everything.
I was using my half and half one for this match, which is why some of my stages have still yet to be locked. That answers any questions that may come up about that.

I'm about to start up the next match :). By the way, it turns out that Windows Movie Maker can't be used on YouTube. So, I use my video camera to shoot the match, then I put the title, music, and credits on Movie Maker, then I reshoot the whole thing from my laptop and re-load it onto my video camera and upload it from there 0_0... Does anyone know an easier way to do this?
