Because Nintendo and Sakurai are idiots who would rather make 2 Star Fox clones and add in a terrible peripheral from the 80's on one liked in the first place.

Their sweatshops are powered by hardcore complaints, which they can pick up from anywhere on earth via special radar. That's the same reason they keep making casual games.

Why did Nintendo ignore every power and weapon that Ganondorf has ever had in the LoZ series and instead make his moveset a clone of one that was made up for a character who never actually fought in his games?
