How come when mario gets a mushroom, he grows 2x his size? If I eat a mushroom, I just have a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the day. :)

I'd love to find a 1-up mushroom though...

So...I would like to find a Fire Flower or 1-Up shroom, no matter how bad it tastes.
