Title: Sonic Adventure for the XBLA
Post by: Lotos on October 23, 2010, 01:01:09 PM
I finally downloaded it, and the DX expansion.  I beat most of the stories, except for Amy (Zero still scares me a little when he pops out).  It's kind of sad that you can complete Sonic's story and "beat" like 40% of the game achievement wise.

I played the GCN version recently, and it's amazing how poorly this game aged. Playing it in 2003 or 2004 it was amazing, but it doesn't stand the test of time at all.

I have to say that there are so many glitches they didn't bother to fix for the DX release.  Try doing a spin dash in certain parts of any level (eg: the loop in Emerald Cost).  You can fall through the ground.

Is it true that all of the glitches and bugs in Adventure's other releases were left untouched, ze?

It's a direct port of the GCN version, yet you have to download the additional features the GCN version had for 400 more points than the game itself costs(800) which just goes to show how petty SEGA is becoming.

Episodic Sonic 4 and now this? Ugh.

And yeah the glitches were left untouched like Lotos said.
