5.  While this roster is total Magicrap (my new term), I unfortunately think a 35 character roster may be possible, despite the immense ammount of time they've had to work on it.  :( :( :(

I wouldn't have much of a problem with the list if this was just a Smash sequel, but this Sakurai's ultimate Smash game... it's double-layered  and standard disc size, but it doesn't even have 10 more characters than Melee? Pfft.

Over 2 years development time, plus an extra two month delay. There had BETTER be over 40 that's all I can say. With all that time that's more than reasonable. hell, they can fit over 100 in a DBZ game X_X;;
