i'm all for tom nook being in the next one.
i still think lyn would've made a great playable. i liked how wolf got in cause he's awesome.
i remember being really dissapointed that krystal didn't get in. Later, when I heard that Sakurai apparently admitted he never heard of her, I was tempted to put my fist through a wall i was so mad. I legitamately thought she'd be in for sure but you know, poop happens.

Looking back at it I'd say brawl is still by far my favorite game, but could've been twice as good as it was. It wouldn't have happened though. They don't/never gave a poop about competitive players thinking things like overdone repetitive storymodes and pointless extras (masterpieces) would be totally stupid and waste room that could've been used for more characters and stages.
Three of my melee mains happened to be the ones who got dropped. As result I use mostly newcomers in brawl.
