Im not gonna say they were bad but...

Did you just use an overlay option on the brush and try to color it?

Link ones in particular were very sloppy and some areas were missed in others.
Try to select by color or hue, and then fill with overlay.
That and maybe make 2 layers overlayed of the picture so that when you erase a overcoloring or mistake it just blends in to the 2nd layer so you dont lose anything. Only brush overlay when you have small areas.

Otherwise, not half bad.
