I always knew Shiek was a girl, seeing as how Shiek is Zelda and Zelda is a girl.

As for useless game modes, Sakurai's already given us tons of those updates:  "Hello, brainless americans.  I could use today's update to show you Ray 01 as a playable character, but instead I'll tell you about putting stickers on trophies!  Oh, and by the way... Smash is only coming out on PS3.  Hehehe..."
