No, I love Melee.  Even if I wasn't a video-game collector and solely just a gamer, I'd still be keeping it (but I'm most certainly both of those).  It's an amazing game and I have put too much time into it to ever wanna get rid of it.  Not just data, but memories are attached to it too.  In fact, I still play it.
