I'm pretty sure that lv 20 vanguard Ike could beat him. Ranged ragnell atk ftw!

If only she's in FE10 though. Those weaking apprentice classes can be really turn out to be monsters. And I really like the Skirmish idea, it can really train up your weaker units.

I'm pretty sure that lv 20 vanguard Ike could beat him. Ranged ragnell atk ftw!

Of course he can. I suggested that idea earlier, and I already knew Ike would win. If you trained Ike well enough (Heck, when he's a Level 20 Vanguard he's always trained competently), you'll have someone stronger than the Black Knight in your arsenal. He's an uber. A deadly uber.

MASSIVE SPOILERS!




At first you have to save Daein from Begnion rule. Then you have to crush all rebels in Crimea. Then you fight Daein and Begnion in a war as the Greil Mercenaries(YES!). You also have to fight your previously used units. Then the goddess Ashera turns almost the whole world to stone. Then everyone teams up to kill Ashera in Begnions capital. That's just in a nut shell. Someone else might give a better description, but I didn't want to type that much.

I'll attempt my paraphrase.

[spoiler]After the Crimea-Daein war, Begnion took over Daein. A rebellion known as the Dawn Brigade  (Who comprises of Micaiah, Sothe, Edward, Leonardo, and Nolan) led Prince Pelleas, son of King Ashnard, to become the king of Daein. Afterwards, a conflict between Laguz and Beorc leads to a premature awakening of Ashera, and she used her judgment to turn the majority of Tellius into stone. Yune, the Goddess of Chaos, tells the remaining living people (Which is Ike and pals) to report to the Tower of Guidance and stop Ashera. On with this, Ike realizes the Black Knight is Zelgius, Dghinsea (sp?), Dragon King, fights against them (And dies), but the most important aspect is that Sephiran planned to kill everyone by prematurely wakening Ashera (Though it's the Galdr of Release that in truth woke her up). Micaiah, turned out, is to be the true Apostle, but she and Sanaki are apparently related (No clue). And that's basically it.[/spoiler]

Though if you guys have Path of Radiance and trained your characters well enough, you should get Radiant Dawn soon. You can already have a kick-butt Ike when you get him from the get go (Which is Part 3). And if you had some Coins from PoR, they'll transfer over! And here's a news flash, they have a use!
