Yeah, a thread dedicated to those jokes that flew over your head as a child:

Stuff like this?  We would not know what they were talking about.  We would have never guessed that the phrase meant something else and not a reference to masturbation.

I also remember an episode when Rocco was trying to find a job, "Phone Specialist" was one.  Mrs. Bighead calls.  "Oh baby oh baby"  "Rocco?"  *both hang up*.  I lol'd hard at that one.

lol, i remember watching Rocko's Modern Life all the time when i was little :D it's interesting now to see all the hidden jokes that little kids won't get. Why aren't kids cartoons like this today? >_>

I quickly realized that every single Rocko's Modern Life episode was a satire of something in society, and I picked up at some of the more subtle jokes.  That's about it.  Then came Angry Beavers and Invader Zim and then Nick decided to turn on the sterilization machine.
