Let's get this thing rolling, eh?

-Shaun White Snowboarding is demoed by... Shaun White.
-Reggie talks about how the market has changed since 2003.
-Animal Crossing: City Folk is shown, along with the WiiSpeak peripheral.
-More sales talk, which builds up to the next few announcements.
-Spore on DS, Guitar Hero: Decades, and a new Pokemon Ranger is shown.
-A new GTA game on DS, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is announced.
-Three Wii games, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party, and Call of Duty: World at War are shown.
-The pack in game for the Wii MotionPlus, Wii Sports Resort, has its frisbee throwing, jet ski, and sword dueling games shown.
- Wii Music is shown with balance board support for drum pedal via the Balance Board and the ability to play the trumpet, along with over 50 other instruments.
Miyamoto and a group of people demo Wii Music with the Mario theme and do OK.
Nintendo says that their object is to make people smile.

Any thoughts? I can't wait for Animal Crossing: City Folk and Wii MotionPlus.

Tuppy frightens me with his knowledge of legacy technology.

Animal Crossing looks like fun, but Nintendo did not make me smile much...

WiiGuy

I'll delete my thread....

I loved the sword fighting i Wii sports resort :)
Wii music looks fun.
and i'm wondering about the mario and zelda games he mentioned.

X-3

Animal Crossing and WiiSpeak interests me.

Not much else, though.

Cardinal

I was pretty impressed. Coming in with low expectations, I totally didn't expect WiiSpeak. <3

.:DL:.

The only thing that interested me was Animal Crossing and WiiSpeak.

Everything else...not so much. -_-

Yeah, what happened to the big announcement for core gamers that they had?

I can't see GTA Chinatown Wars being THAT big.

They DID make me smile when they announced WiiSpeak, though.

The only thing I want is Animal Crossing Wii with the mic.
The rest was a disappointment for me. I guess I was right in the first place not to expect anything from this. Still, I was hoping for a Zelda game or something good.

Good job! I, Viewtifulboy, declare you the CHAMPION!

I'm the official winner of the Viewtiful Victory roleplay championship!

Gwen Khan

Animal Crossing and Wii Music look fun, also Wii Speak

X-3

So...is that it? Reggie said something about, "the next couple of days" in the farewell address. I'm not too familiar with how E3 works. Is there more to announce?

I honestly doubt there will be an E3 next year.

Yeah, the highlight of the show was Animal Crossing and WiiSpeak. Maybe Wii Sports Resort.

I think the biggest disaapointment will come from the people who were really expecting something big like the new Zelda or other things. I always have my Nintendo Power magazines to give me the info they never covered at E3, because I'm sure that if they had more time we would have seen alot more.
