What are the basic rules in most official Brawl Tourneys?

I am gonna host one at my town's Library, so I just wanna know so I make no mistakes.

Dawei is your guy for the official Brawl Tourney rules.
There's probably others on the Brawl board that would know, but Dawei is your best bet.

I believe it's 3-stock, no items, and certain stages are banned (not sure which), but you might have already known that.

No AR, no items, stock, and one on one. Thats pretty much it. Take out glitches if you want, but people use them in actual MLG (wavedash and what not)

I get picky about Stock lives, I always have to have a number that goes by 5, NEVER anything else. So a 5 Life, Keep Items, it might get interesting with items, just taking out the cheap items that spam, like Ray gun and Fan...

As for stages, I know exactly which ones to take out...NOW DAWEI, GET YOUR ASS IN HERE!!!
