Orange Box for a gift?

Okay, my friend is a big shooter fan and owns a 360. His b day is coming up kind of soon.  He likes the Halos, Saints Row, Crackdown, and Gears of War.  I'm pretty sure he's never played Half life though.  So, do you think he would like the Orange Box?  Let me just clear some things up first, its like 60 bucks right? If so, I'd just split with some of his other friends. Also, it is for 360, right? Well, thanx in advance.
