ive been getting back heavily into elephant 6 stuff. naturally, i was really pleased to hear what new stuff they had in store.

for starters, theres nana grizol. they sound like a mix between neutral milk hotel and beulah, which isnt surprising at all. nana grizol's label is actually orange twin, which is the label started by jeff mangum (which if you know neutral milk hotel, then chyeah son)

and speaking of beulah, frontman miles kurosky released an ep about a week ago with new stuff, which is good to hear after a few years of nothing
