Helpz mah wii being stupid

Today, when i went to the wii shop channel, it said it was under maintenance.
and when i went to update my wii, it says i can't update it and theres something wrong with my internet settings, but i can connect to wifi fine.
any idea whats happening?


And another thing, is the internet signal picked up by the motion sensor bar?

I don't really see the problem, it seems like the only thing wrong was Shop Channel, but did you consider that maybe it WAS down for matinence?

If the Wii Shop Channel says it's down for maintenence, then it's down for maintenence.  They are either updating the catalog or they are adding new features.

Like when they totally changed the interface a few months ago and added things like "Search By Title", or today when they added the ability to send gifts of VC games to your Wii Friends.
