What RPG do you think has the best music. I would say Secret of Mana by far. Hiroki Kikuta was a musical genious.
Baten Kaitos, hands down.

I thought so, but... Who are you over there? ^.^;;

Folon. You brought me here. :D
IMO, paper mario and M&L series...
Baten Kaitos. I love the music that plays when you're in Mintaka. And the True Mirror is amazing as well.
xD For such a small game, I'm amused that BK is the general consenus here. :D

Hm.....yea, you're right. :-X
Baten Kaitos overall has the best music, though the non-Disney sequences of Kingdom Hearts are good, too.
Off the top of my head. Paper Mario TTYD.
Both Golden Sun games have good music in them. So those games have the best RPG music to me at least (no offense meant to anyone). Since I haven't played that many RPG's myself.
I use to have the sound track to FFVII and would listen to that when I went to bed. I can't say if it's the best because it's the only sound track for a video game that I owned.
Well my 3 personal favorites are Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and Panzer Dragoon Saga.
Final Fantasy
Super Mario RPG
Paper Mario TTYD
Definitely the soundtrack to System Shock 2. You are the only surviving human left on the gigantic starship full of aliens, undead, and a crazy AI; the game's spooky soundtrack does an excellent job of expanding the game's atmosphere. Never once has an RPG's soundtrack fit so well with the game's setting.
Baten Kaitos, hands down. It's a shame it didn't get more recognition. :(
GASP. I just remembered, I never beat it...though I'm facing off against Malpercio in my file right now.
Urk...guess I should do that sometime. >_>

xD I was stuck on that part forever... But you really should get around to it. The ending is beautiful. <3

Don't spoil it. ;_;
But yeah, I should probably get around to it, it's going to bug me now.
Final Fantasy X
Legend of Dragoon
Tales of Symphonia
Not to most complex with the melodic arrangements, but simply captivating nonetheless.
Eternal Sonata....The whole game is based on a musician, and every characters name has somthing to do with music, also the music in the game rules
Earthbound who donest love the onett theme
