Slow Down (Not another complaint)

We have the option of changing the skin on this site! I'd like to know whether or not the skins were actually causing the slow down or if it was something else. If the skins were not the cause of the slow down, then we can finally get all the complaining about the site over with and make this site look fifty times more rad then it is!

I only experienced the slow down when the skins were enabled, and I am currently not experiencing a slow down.

I was able to until recently. The Admins removed the function because they were under the assumption that it caused a slow down.   :-\

At least for me and a few others, it definitely did. That's not to say skin selection will never be enabled again, though... I'm looking at it right now.
