Maybe it was their weird way to deal with the advances of 8-directional movement with the hardware limitations of a D-pad.
Which means that the Circle Pad puts an end to that.
If that's true, I'll definitely be getting the new Zelda.

The graffiti/hieroglyph thing is pretty darn weird.
I have no problem with the art style, though. It's ALttP 3D and looks like it. It's almost the same exact perspective as the original game, but 3D.
My only problem is that Link doesn't have pink hair.

The color of his hair makes the game? Not the gameplay? Graphics? Music? Really?
And that's the thing, if Nintendo had had a choice, his hair wouldn't have been pink. All of the concept art shows him with blonde hair. He's never had pink hair in any other medium other than this "mistake". It's time to get over it. His hair wasn't pink.

To be honest, no, but that's because I skipped out on buying for a while; both with the 3DS and games. I didn't even get any games until Christmas of 11 (Or before).
I'm probably gonna just get a few games all in bundles; particularly once in the summer, once for christmas, and once for my birthday. Going to see if I can also pick out on some of the older stuff I missed for cheap. (Pokemon Rumble Blast, Pilotwings, Ghost Recon, etc)
Also Art Style of merging into walls makes up for the rest.

I for one am ashamed to say (as a Zelda fan) that it was far from my favorite. I figured at first I just like the 3D games more because they're 3D, but then I played Link's Awakening and liked it better too. Heck, the multiplayer co-op for FSA seemed more fun to me.
I can't quite place why, either; there's just something about it that turns me off.

well, it definitely doesn't look bad. alttp is my favorite game in the series and i appreciate that they kept it legit.
LttP is solid game, but yeah, they intercourse ed up in certain areas. Whoever did the sprite for Link in particular goofed up.
i more-or-less just meant the link sprite but yeah, the rest of the graphics are honestly at least acceptable. I personally don't care since I don't even turn my 3D on except maybe a few times in fire emblem or theatrhythm final fantasy
