No bug legendaries?

Wasn't Pokemon made with the idea of catching bugs and trading or something?  So why are there no bug legendaries?  I'd like to see a tarantula or a mantis (they used butterflies multiple times...).  Maybe even a large hornet.  Quick!  Go to that Encyclopedia Dramatica page with the Japanese bug fights and look for other ideas!

I guess bugs just aren't the first thing that comes to mind when people think of all powerful beings. I've always wanted one though. Maybe a centipede?

Heracross is also not a grasshopper, it's a Heracles Beetle. Think about it for a moment. What does every stereotypical martial arts instructor call their pupils? Grasshopper, for some insane reason I don't want to comprehend. A Bug/Fighting grasshopper? Clearly a legend in the making.

There are no poisons either. I'd rather have a poison legendary than a fighting. Fighting is a boring type.

I think that'd be hilarious. We need more comedy and memorability with legendaries these days so I'd love to see that.

We must have at least one talented spriter here.  Bug/Fighting that's a grasshopper.  I would use Scizor, Hricketune, Kricketot, etc.
