So I went to the movies today and saw this movie...yeah, that's right.
And it was amazing. Really.
Basically, if you like or ever liked Seussian stuff, or at least awesome CG-animated environments, you'll love this. This is, imo, better even than the other stuff to come out of this studio (Ice Age, for example). The story is simple yet complex and is masterfully executed with some great added touches, and the dual climax scene is a great work of imaginative art.
If you like watching the Pixar and Dreamworks CG-animated movies, I suggest you don't miss this one.
I want to see it. Really.
Was it better than that godawful Cat In The Hat movie?

Definitely. Dr. Seuss belongs in CGI, not live-action :P
It looks good. But i'm broke (Ok, not really. But i'm not spending it >:() and my parents probably wouldn't pay to see it.
BUT IT CAN'T BE AS GOOD AS THE GODLY PIECE OF COMPUTER ANIMATION THAT IS RATATOUILLE

Ratatouille was amazing.
In terms of technical computer animation, I think it's safe to say this is a bit more cartoony but still in the same league.
Also, there's a ninja anime dub spoof in there that made me lol hard.
I never read the book. :(
I always wanted to though.
Just got back from it. Very funny, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
They need to stop raping Dr. Seuss books.
I saw it yesterday, and I agree full-heartedly with Zovi. It was a very imaginative movie, and well done. Especially the spoof on Ninja Anime. XD

this actually does it justice, unlike The Cat in the Hat.
It's seriously that good?
...I actually want to see it now. ._.

I'll take your word on it, Zov. Besides, the Cat in the Hat movie was just dumb, it was a intercourse ing idiotic idea to have Mike Myers in a cat costume. (I like Mike Myers, but never EVER put him in a cat costume) The Horton movie looks good though.
i might see it later.. i don't know...
