You might have burst a blood vessel in your eye. It's not all that uncommon. Although I dunno what you've been doing that could cause that.

A lot of stress lately if that counts for anything.  But I don't think it's that red for a burst blood vessel... my buddy's dog had that happen once and it's not nearly that bad, I've just got blood streaks going through that part of my eye.  It's getting better now though.
