The guitar was messed up. Luckily, you can use the D-Pad like a killswitch, like the Xplorer controller for the 360. I played the drumset, though. It was amazing. It easily beats GH just for the amount of fun. And it's all really simple. I played Tom Sawyer on Expert on my second go on the drums, and got about 93% on it. Of course, the demo doesn't have the bass pedal, which is gonna get me in the real version of the game.
Anyways, I highly recommend it. Get it if you can.
More on the instruments.
The guitar is kinda cheap and plastic-y, and was broken when I played it, as I said before. Of course, due to the super plastic-y-ness, it was a lot easier to slide. The ability to change pedals for the solo was pretty cool, too. I couldn't figure out the bottom buttons, though. =(
The drums were amazing. There was a lack of bass pedal, because it was the demo, but still amazing. The sticks were real wooden sticks and the pads gave it the right amount of bounce, though it's kinda hard to play while looking at the screen, because the pads are a bit smaller than standard drums.
Just from playing it today, I'd give it a 9.75/10. Simply amazing.
Also, the bars aren't annoying at all, and it scrolls about as fast as the GHIII notechart.
There wasn't a microphone, sorry.
Was the guitar( controller) messed up or was it the guitar( segments of the game) that were messed up?
I can't wait to play this game, probally the first one I get for my 360!

It was the guitar. Not sure about the guitar, as it's obviously different, but the strum bar wasn't clicking like the GH guitar does.
