Title: Yay, Nintendo, but what's the point?
Post by: WiinolikePS3 on November 28, 2007, 03:05:56 PM
Yay, they got their new site up, but...

Why? All they did was change how it looked! They haven't added anything, so there's still next to no reason to ever go there! Seriously! There's nothing there of interest AT ALL. It's still hopelessly boring :-\

I see what you mean.

Still, I don't see why they worked so hard on simply making it look better...

I'm pretty sure that wasn't the reason. The executives got a bit greedy.  >:(

They never give enough respect for older consoles. Sony does a better job, since they updated the PS2 by creating a slimmer version in the US. I think they're upgrading the PS2 again for Japan. I hated it when they stopped the production of component cables for the GCN, even before the Wii or DS arrived.

hmm...the only thing I like is the new banner.  The rest of the layout is hopelessly confusing and unappealing.  It matches the Wii, but that's about it.

I love how it's practically a clone of the Wii website.

If it was a bit more organized, I'd love it.

No, he doesn't work for Nintendo anymore; he lost his job after the closure.

Is it just me, or is the site really slow?

it's a big mess of uninformative images and links and stuff.

I like main pages that don't require much scrolling to get where I want to go, and that uses as much minimalism as possible to make everything easy to find.  This is the opposite >.>

You live in Seattle?

I lived about 4 hours away.
