I just felt like taking a few pictures of the snow that's accumulated since this morning. This is the second time its snowed this week, here.
Anyways, enjoy:

...seriously?
Right now, it's 75 degrees for me (24 if you use Celsius). That might be like as hot as your summers. This area never gets even within 5 degrees of water's freezing point.
wow..do you have any neighbors...looks lonely in those pics...
anyhow
yea its really cold here...26 degrees, tomorrow night we have freezing rain in the forcast

That's crazy. In the summer it can get over 100 degrees F but usually from 20-30 degrees Celsius as a norm (68-86 F).
I <3 B.C.
Yes, lots of snow in AB too.
Yeah it's snowing hard up here in Seattle.

We do, but they're spaced up the street. This is just photos of around my house.

I'd bet. Whatever temperature most of BC has chances are Alberta will have it colder. At least I don't have to worry about the temperature dipping below -5 here. :P

I wouldn't be too surprised. Southern BC and Washington tend to have similar weather.
It was pouring in California yesterday. Now it's just drizzling though.

lol. I live in a small community so typically people are spaced pretty far apart.

Thanks. It can get a bit lonely being more or less separated from people (as opposed to in a town/city/suburb) but I like it over all.
Out of curiosity, is it really all that odd since you live in Canada? :P
I live in Texas... yeah.
Last time it snowed here and it accumulated was Valentine's Day 2005. It was awesome...if you had that special someone to walk in the snow with...which I didn't. :(
My neighbors and I made a 7-foot tall snowman, though. It took 5 of us to lift the middle onto the bottom. XD
Anyway, last time I checked, it was snowing to the desert in the West, but it's only raining here.

Yeah, with the occasional snow we usually just get cold, windy, cloudy and wet weather. :P
So I typically appreciate it when it snows (just as long as I'm not designated to shovel the driveway).
It's still about 40-50 F here (Haven't figured out C yet >>)

Yeah, I love the snow, esp. since it only snows once a year (and it only sticks twice a leap cycle at the most). But whenever we have winter storms, the area is thrown into a mad panic.>_>

Starwind, is that really the ghetto of your area? O_o; By the looks of that picture, that area looks equivalent to some of the surrounding err..."non-ghetto" communities around this area. I've never been to the ghetto around my area, seeing as there's a report of some shooting there every day. :robotindifferent:
Anyways, onto my weather. Well, today it has been pouring down rain all day, and now there's a report of some cold front coming in that bring temps. below freezing. It's been a gloomy day all day :(

oh... didn't read the icy roads part. :P
we don't get cancelled because of icy roads. Manitoba roads can't get much worse than they always are. we just get cancelled because of how cold it gets (we got... 3 days cancelled last year. it's only if it goes below 45 degrees).
