I'm just wondering.
My parents let me have a sip one time, lol
well does marijuana count?
I was visiting my best friend in Oregon (I live in Washington). My mom and my friend's mom were drinking some alcohol (I don't remember what it was exactly). My mom let he have a sip, so I took it and took a sip. I was abut to hand it to her, then the taste settled in the mouth...I loved it. Before she could take it, I took a big drink from it, she had to grab it from me.
It tasted so good...I wish I knew what it was called :(

I did ask her, she says she doesn't remember. This was back in 2003.

I'm 25 yes I've tried it. I use to go to the bar at 19 and never get carded because I was always with much older people. I would get wasted regularly. Now, however, I don't drink at all. If I do it's just one drink and that's it.
Never. I don't believe in it, I have seen what alcohol does to people, and want no art of it.

I was mistakenly given a bit of wine at church one Easter, it's absolutely disgusting IMO.
It wasn't much, I had a paper wafer thing that had been dipped in it.
Besides that, I never have nor intend to have any sort of alcoholic drink.
Nope, and not really in a hurry to. I've seen my parents drunk a couple of times and it's scary and embarrassing.
I'll probably just drink occasionally to be social when I'm legal.
Don't drink, don't plan on it.
My parents let me have a bit of wine/beer one time. 5 (33.3%)
Not the type of person.
As for my own experiences, I've been slightly drunk (well, maybe it was mostly drunk) at a party or two a couple years ago, when for some reason I had the illusion that drinking was cool. I've since reformed my ideas, and haven't been interested in alcohol. I also sort of take my dad's semi-alcoholism as a warning of the issues I could get myself into. One of my close friends, too, had his parents' relationship absolutely ravaged by the father's drinking... they're all fine now, but it was the worst time of his life when he'd tell me his dad had wound up in a Canadian prison just across the border with a stolen car that he'd crashed into a ditch. That's certainly not the path I'd like to follow.

The wonders of intoxication.
No, I've seen all too often what happens afterwards, so I'll stay clear of the depressants.
even though I'm of age and Irish I don't drink

I'm Irish too :)
Black Irish.
Like I said a couple days ago, I don't normally drink; I hate the taste of alcohol unless it's mixed with something. This time of year, I spike up my eggnog with a tiny bit of rum or brandy. My parents know, and they trust that I'm not going to be adding an ungodly amount.
Never have.
No. I might drink a bit when I'm older, but not now.
Well, actually, my grandpa let me try some wine..
wow i never knew alcohol ruined so many things...
pot FTW!
I could drink I choose not to.
I have every reason to get so plastered that I can't feel feelings anymore
but I just don't have the money to support the blacking out habit.
To my knowledge I haven't. And I doubt I ever will.
No, never.

..and pot doesn't? Good Lord.
I'll have wine or champagne on holidays or special occasions. Not much, just a small wine glass.
Other then that, I never drink, and I plan on keeping it that way.

its actually safer than tobacco and alcohol, when your on it you just want to chill and play video games.
no, but i've seen my bro. drunk(he is 22 now and was 21 when this happened) and we were at a wedding, it was more fun that anything too, but it was an open bar, and WOW did he get drunk, skipping to the end, at the end of the wedding he was so, so,so intoxicated he could hardly stand, i was his "walker" until he got walking for a while , he was slurring his words and didnt walk in a strait line, at the wedding he tipped his chair like 8 times and we tricked him into eating a plate decoration......i couldn't stop laughing the whole night(until i fell asleep in the car) i was up at 5:30 and was up until approximately 2 the next day....and with all the activity i was doing i was REALLY tired
The only time I have ever had any alcohol was at Mass, the wine, but I don't count that because you barely even touch it to your lips, so I say no I've never consumed any alcohol.
It killed one of my friends.
Never.
i haven't had alcohol

Depends how you look at it. Yeah, alcohol makes some people crazy, but people go try to drive cars when they're high too. And I'm sure you've heard that smoking one joint is the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes or something, but then, most people don't chain-smoke weed.
I'm not really against marijuana, personally, or LSD, as long as use doesn't become a habit.
Well, I always hear about the kids in my English class talking about how they get wasted over the weekends, from what I've heard from them, doesn't sound too fun.
I've never tasted alcohol, and don't really plan to just by myself.
If I'm at like a party or special occasion then maybe, but not in my own house.
I WOULD try it, but:
1. I'm on meds that if mixed w/ alcohol, I may be in the hospidal/die
2. Alcohol not in the house much, only when family comes over
3. That little amount of alcohol that'd I take will be noticed if missing
4. If I somehow got addicted, see #2 and #3.

So you will SIE from alcohol?
I've had alcohol very rarely; on less than 3 occasions. I'll have a bit at a social gathering, but that aside hardly at all.
I purposely keep away from the stuff most of the time. The last thing I want to be responsible for is something I did while under the influence. That and I've heard hangovers aren't pleasant. ;)

well its true that driving cars while stoned is stupid, but its the user's fault for driving
when they know they shouldnt be.
plus marijuana taken in little doses is a great pain reliever.
No, not interested in that kind of stuff.
Yeah.
The story:
Note: The legal drinking age in Europe is 16.
Me and a few of my friends (4, but one couldn't drink due to health issues) that I went to Europe with (I wasn't really friends with them before the trip, but after the trip, I now am) wanted the real "parisian" experience (we were in paris, right by the Arc de Triomphe). So, we bought some:
1. Baugettes
2. Cheese (swiss, ironically)
3. Cheap wine (like, 6 euros for a huge bottle, lol).
We went and found a nice park, but we didn't have a corkscrew. So, we used the army knife that we had bought (strangely, it didn't have a corkscrew either) to get the cork out. Didn't work too well, but we got it anyways. :P
so there was cork in our wine, and we all ended up having a good time. it took us longer to get the cork out than for the five of us to drink it all. :P
then we almost got mowed down by a demonic bus driver (who, I'd say, was trying to kill us. He was grinning evilly as he almost plowed us down).
Then the chaperones found out, and suddenly there was something wrong with it. We got in trouble, when the kids in the room down the hall had bought hard liquor and were consuming it in copious amounts, and were completely hungover the next day.
meh, it was with friends, and it's not like any of us had more than a glass each in total (except one guy, he was kinda a boozehound >_>).
We were all at least 16. Nothing illegal there. :P
With my friends, got slightly drunk.
Though for my morals sake,
I believe that 1 does not need to drink to have a good time.
