Title: So Sakurai doesn't care about keeping characters secret anymore.
Post by: Tupin on December 07, 2007, 05:30:13 AM
Does this mean he could be like,

"Hey, I've never seen that fighter before..."

In a totally unrelated screenshot? ;D

You'll do that if you play against someone online who has unlocked a character you haven't. ::)

I'm hoping this means he will start revealing more characters.

I wish, but from what I see, it's more of a "I'm not telling who they are, but since you'll know the minute it comes out anyway, I'm not hiding them either."

Probably. But he still has to reveal a few more. ;)

I found this quote by Sakurai humorous...
"When you have a battle mode that runs online like Basic Brawl, the problem of what to do with hidden characters arises. If one of your opponents chooses a character you haven't unlocked yet, it will be spoiled for you immediately."

Like he's the one to talk.  His whole site has the word spoiled all over it.

Mabye he has already shown us a secret character. Mabye this character has been hiding in the background of a stage all a long, waiting for Brawl to come out so he can be unlocked... :O

Mario Kart DS all over again, that's how I found R.O.B. (I saw the Japanese one first).

Dr. Mario - Never fought
Captain Falcon - Pilot

Also, Diddy Kong Racing DS, Taj was a playable in adventure, he was also the shopkeeper, so you played as a smaller one.

Also in programming, there can be a "Check if Nook instance exists" command thing and if Nook is brawling, it'll take Nook out of the background.

See the AC logo?  They SHOULD have a representative, having two game out already, and a third coming.  Of course, there can't really be a NDS logo representative.

You can probably contradict these, but whatever.  I tried Tuppy.
