Title: Nostolgia of the day? Remember the old times?
Post by: Pokesamrus on December 07, 2007, 06:03:44 PM
Remember the Great M_F raid?

Smalltown Nsider2 of 300 members (or less) fought M_F's forums just when the admins and mods were childish and Silver's controversy was happening?

A great big spam raid, murdering M_F's original forums. What was really strange was the day before, I told M_F I'll organize a raid against him in the name of Nsider2. And whaddya know? I even saw some users spam some tubgirl (lol wtf). The raid led to confusion, users fleeing (mainly to Nsider2, giving them about 1,000 users they yearned for, also made them where they are today), and the entire board being shutdown. This was it of M_F, sure he came back for little flames but the dumbed-down "Persian" empire was ruined, turned into the little forum of say 28 members, that nobody else knows exists.

This epic battle should be a tale to be told decades down to other nintendo forums. How the around 300 "Spartan" Nsider2 members went from being the little guys trying to scrape for members to slowly building the biggest Nsider related empire since Nsider itself!

What does this have to do with this site? Well, during the raid, a couple hours toward the end of the war, Silver had to make this countdown site, for anticipation to his own site. Other users also made accounts there, and possibly also leading this place to being where it is now. And NOA_Metroid_Fan! sitting on his chair crying all over his multiplication homework.

In summary, without the Great M_F raid, Nsider2 and these forums likely won't be where they are today.

THIS EPIC TALE SHALL BE KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE YEARS.

I remember all the spam fests of the original Nsider, and how that one guy w/o a life kept pissing us off.

Oh, and I noticed some time before the downfall, unregistered people were posting.  Afterward, after everyone left, all posts were made by uregistered pervs.

Ugh.
