Title: This isn't good...
Post by: Rayquarian on December 10, 2007, 03:31:13 PM
Last night, my computer was working fine.  When I turn it on today, it starts to boot, but then, at the "Welcome" screen, the system reboots itselfs!  I disabled automatic reboots on system failure, but it still reboots.  I've tried startup repair, but it can't find anything wrong.  Does anyone know a way to fix this?

That EXACT thing happened to me before.
My dad said that we had to format and reinstall.

So we did, and it works fine now.
I'd say back up stuff you want on another Hard drive and format your current one and reinstall win.
Only fix I know of, but i'd wait and see if someone else knows.

Sounds like your startup configuration is corrupt.
You could try a system restore, if you can get that far.
Otherwise...you'll have to either reformat or take it to a computer place to get it fixed.

System restore worked.  I'm back on my computer.  Thanks.
