Title: How is Rotation any different than Tourney?
Post by: Eizweir on December 11, 2007, 10:04:37 AM
Besides a couple small tweaks, I don't think we need both modes.

Rotation has no winner, Rotation has you play again even if you lose... lots of things. But I don't know why we couldn't just do it ourselves. Oh well, just one more thing to have fun with.

It is a bit unnecessary.

But then there would be no more updates. The only exciting stuff is the stuff they're working on now, he's not going to tell the entire story of the Subspace Emissary, he's not revealing secret characters (other than the obvious)... I don't think November was supposed to suck, but since he pushed the date back, he must have pushed all the "real" November updates back, too. That glaring hole in the newcomer section is still there, and we haven't gotten Mario music yet.

And to think, December was supposed to be filled with OMG updates. :(

But darn, they really are adding everything to this game. :)

The hole is the newcomer section is only abnormally large because of December. One month gaps between sets of three newcomers are common, but usually by the next month we get a new newcomer.

I know, but the way updates were progressing, I'm sure he planned to reveal that newcomer in November, but everything got pushed back.
